FATLODA 2 Pack Barrel Bolt

I bought this lock for two reasons: 1) to keep my door shut when my cats try to break in, and 2) so I could lock my daughter’s room from either the inside or outside. It does work on our door to keep the cats out. It’s extremely sturdy and doesn’t seem like it’s going to break anytime soon. The installation wasn’t easy at all, but that’s because of the type of door I have and its current condition. For my daughter’s room, I wasn’t able to use it the way I wanted to—because I didn’t realize the lock part would have to be installed sideways to work on her door (my bad). The look is very minimal—you can hardly notice it—and since it’s silver, it matches the grey decor in our room. It also comes with two extra screws, just in case.

I recently purchased the FATLODA 2 Pack Barrel Bolt Latches, and overall, I'm very impressed with their strength and durability. However, I do want to mention that installation wasn't as straightforward as I'd hoped. Attaching them securely to my door definitely required some effort and careful precision. I ended up needing to use a drill gun, which made the process much smoother and ensured a really solid fit. But once they were in place, wow! These latches are incredibly strong and feel very secure. They operate smoothly and give me great peace of mind. If you're looking for a robust barrel bolt that will hold up, these are a fantastic option – just be prepared to put in a little extra work for the installation, and have a drill handy! It's definitely worth it for the quality you get.

Good product its what I needed works perfect

It was very easy to mount and practical.

One latch worked. really well, but the other one was hard to move in the slot, and I was not able to use it.

Held up good on a site where teens were trying to kick in a door and pry open another. It did it's job, and can't really complain.
