Rhino Coffee Gear 58mm Espresso Dosing Cup Stainless Steel - Short

Works great for espresso. The edges are ground well and the finish is quality, has a nice weight (98.8g). There are some wielding lines on the underside of its ring, none on the top side. I dose 18g in and there’s plenty of room for more. The opening fits well in a 58mm portafilter. Only thing of note is if you’re getting this for a eureka mignon, it will not fit between the forks.If you’re looking for a comparatively less expensive dosing cup that matches your stainless equipment this is the one for you.

Just as advertised. Very nicely finished and does what a dosing cup is supposed to do. No static problems whatsoever. Easy to clean and easy to store. I only do double shots (18-19 grams depending on beans) on it daily straight out of the grinder and that fills the cup to about 1/2 way — have not tried a triple shot but should definitely be plenty big for it. Fits in the portafilter nicely so I just put the portafilter on top then invert them, then while holding down the dosing cup I give it a few gentle knocks to make sure the grounds are settled in the portafilter basket. Overall I see no reason to spend more than $20 on a stainless steel accessory that probably costs $2 to make at scale.

This dosing cup is all stainless steel -- definitely will not break. Has a flange around most of the cup -- making it easy to empty into the potafilter. Fairly heavy and just the right size for my purpose.

Main reason I purchased the dosing cup is to reduce or eliminate my espresso coffee grind mess. I’ve only used it three times; it has eliminated coffee grinds that wind up on my kitchen counter. Using a bottomless ECM 58mm portafilter, I make a 23.0+ gm triple espresso, from single dosing a doserless Rocky grinder. The cup does the job. The dosing cup fits somewhat loosely in the porta filter, however flipping the porta-filter-dosing-cup-pair does not result in grinds that lose their way. The cup appears to be well made and appropriately finished. Happy with purchase, even though I feel the dosing cup is overpriced.

It sits perfectly in my grinder and makes taring, dosing, and weighing much easier compared to a bulky, uneven portafilter. It’s solid, made of high quality stainless steel. Weighs about 100g. Combine with a stainless steel funnel that attaches to the portafilter.

Love it. Works perfect with my Kitchen Aid burr grinder and I dont have to mess with trying to get my portafilter in the portafilter holder, which could spill out when filled.

I've been using this with a small kitchen scale allows for perfect espresso dosing every time. Great quality, construction and durability. Would highly recommend!!!

Nicely made, heavy, does the job

This product was clearly used. Box was beat up and taped up. Coffee grounds in the cup. It’s also a bit scratched up. Disappointing.
