Samsung Washer door latch replacement
I have a Samsung washer Model # WF42H5000AW/A2. The door switch began to malfunction so I tracked down the part number and ordered this item. With a less-than-10 minute installation (see youtube for videos), my washer is now working perfectly again. I'm unsure of the longevity of the item as I just installed it, but I'm hoping it will last at least a few years.

Don't call you appliance repair company
The old lock was stuck shut. Luckily, the latch also snapped, so I could open the washer. Installation was easy by YouTube videos. Through the front, no need to remove the dryer from the top. Even I could do it in 30 minutes. Will it last? The time will tell.

Perfect replacement
This was the perfect replacement for a broken door latch on the washer. Replacement was super quick and easy all fit well and works as needed.

Replacement to original. Hope it lasts as long as the original one. I'm sure it's one of the three pieces inside that is broken, but just easier to replace whole unit for the time and effort it takes otherwise to find the fail.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE
This part worked perfectly, but I had trouble with it about 5 months later. I reached out to the seller & explained that this part had malfunctioned. The seller promptly emailed me & offered to refund or replace the part. I wanted a replacement part & the seller quickly mailed the replacement part. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THIS SELLER. OEM replacement part
Was the perfect replacement on our Whirlpool Duet GHW9200L washer. The door would not unlock, and the emergency pull did not open the door, so we had to take the top and front of the washer off. Once that is done, it is an easy replacement. You also have to take off the rubber gasket between the door and the tub, but if you take your time (don't tear it), it is easy to re-install. So far, the part is working like new, and looks/feels just like the original part (which lasted over 10 years with daily use).
