A little difficult getting the cubes out but not very.

I would really rate these 4.5 or 4.9. They are my new favorite ice cube trays. 1. they are all silicone. The ones that are silicone and plastic together ripped apart where the two materials meet after just four months. 2. They are size appropriate for our latest freezer. They are all getting smaller but because of the size of these I can fit 6 trays in where they belong, 3 stacks of 2 high. 3. The only downside and not really even a downer is that because they are all silicone they do not release as rapidly. I just run them upside down under hot water for a few seconds and they pop out. GREAT

My favorite square cubes. Buy 2 (this came in a 2 pk) and make 30 cubes at once. Easy to pop out and ice is bigger so takes time for it to melt! Nothing like ice cold water from hydroflask, plus the freezer ice maker cant keep up with the amount of ice I use. So this is perfect!

I do like the size and density of the ice cubes, but I have to agree with some other reviews; the cubes are hard to get out of the tray. They seemed to stick to the silicone.

At first, I was disappointed when I saw their size. However, once I filled them and placed them in service I realized they provided an ample amount of ice. I consider them a good value, but think the little thongs are necessary.
