Clean Smudge-Free Lines – Excellent Contrast on Dark Surfaces
TL;DR: 5 Stars. A high-utility, odorless writing set that effectively replaces dusty traditional chalk with smudge-free liquid pigment. While they offer superior visibility and dual-tip mechanics, they are strictly limited to non-porous surfaces to avoid permanent ghosting. Resulting in potential for professional-grade labeling and signage that remains easily reversible on glass or metal. [The "Service Pro" Assessment: Ease of Use & Appearance] After 20 years in professional environments, I prioritize tools that maintain a clean Appearance without the mess of traditional chalk. These Mr. Pen markers offer incredible Ease of use for desktop organization. The ink is water-based and odorless, making it a "bunker-safe" asset for enclosed home offices. [Mechanical Performance: Drying Time & Color] Drying time: The ink is quick-drying, which is a mechanical necessity to prevent smearing during long technical sketches. Once set, it delivers a high-contrast white Color that is far more legible than standard dry chalk. Leakage: The valve-activated chassis prevents accidental Leakage during storage, provided you keep them horizontal. Tip thickness: The reversible dual-tips (Chisel and Bullet) allow you to toggle Tip thickness between broad signage and fine-line detailing. [Functional Utility: Cleanup & Surface Safety] Erasability: Cleanup is effortless on glass or whiteboards with a simple damp cloth. The "Ghosting" Warning: Technical Note: These are permanent on porous materials like wood or paper. Always test a small area on your chalkboard first to ensure it isn't too absorbent. [Auditor’s Summary] The Mr. Pen 4-pack is a reliable "Tier 1" creative utility. It provides 100% smudge-free lines and vibrant visibility for any dark, non-porous surface. Recommended for users who need precise, erasable labeling for professional or industrial organization.

Works well, just gets messy
I like these, they are great for my little kitchen menu board but they do dry out while writing and sometimes I have to shake them up more before I’m finished writing. If you shake them too much they drop out little white spots everywhere so be careful. Wish they wouldn’t dry out so fast while writing and I’d be giving them 5 stars. I do really like that you can switch out the tips, however I prefer the bullet tip.
