3-Ply Grano Frying Pan, 26 cm

Reasonable weight feels good but not heavy.Non stick is superb and overall very well thought out in construction. Have previously used tefal ON which was more expensive and failed badly. So far this range of cookware has excelled. So happy with it have purchased more of the range.

Was in need of a new pan, was not disappointed. It does the job and for the price you can’t go wrong. The only thing to improve it would be a matching lid, but otherwise a very good pan.

First of all - I did loads of research before purchasing this pan. I'm the type of person who takes excellent care of my pans and I hope they last a long time. My previous model was from procook, and it lasted three years before slowly becoming less non-stick. My procook pan still has no scratches in the surface.Now about this pan:Day 1 - Cracked an egg on the side of the pan. Cracked the non-stick surface as well. OK, I thought to myself. No more cracking eggs on the side of the pan. Annoying, but I can live with that.Month two: Random small chip appeared in the center of the non-stick surface. I don't use metal implements. I don't dishwash the pan. I us a special sponge for non-stick pans. I have taken perfect care of it. Now, after only a couple months it is already chipping bits of non-stick chemicals into my food (or the food of my kids). I am not pleased.If you think you can take better care of this pan then I did, or if you only want a pan that lasts for two months, go ahead and purchase this one.

After one week using, the pan already look old and terrible. The nonstick lawyer is not so good neither.

I bought this mid February and by mid April it was damaged.It worked great for a few weeks, but then the nonstick cover started peeling off like a sticker.I never used metal utensils, always wood or silicone, and hand washing (no dishwasher).I wrote Amazon, the reverted me to Tramontina. I wrote them a 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard back.I would give them negative starts if i could. This is a waste of money.

Just after a few weeks of use, the non-sticky layer started to peeled off. Besides the overall quality is average at best, the bottom is not flat. You are way better of just buying Tefal. Even my cat is disappointed.

The pan looked great at first but lasted only 3 months before it started to flake around the edges and then actually peeling away. I had to throw it out.

A nice pan in all respects, and at a sane price compared to "premium" alternatives like Hexclad or Onyx. I was attracted by a favourable review of a similar pan by the same manufacturer in the NYT Wirecutter that is unfortunately only available in the US.The ergonomics are good, the pan heats evenly and the non-stick is excellent. The only problem is that the same is true of pretty much any new pan, even an IKEA one at 1/3 the price. So let's see how this one holds up under the first year of use.I will edit or comment the review in a year-or-so and see how we are doing. Until then a "jury's out" 3 stars.
