These book marks are beautifully made, and the engraving on them is fantastically done. Brought two differing types, but the cat one I would have liked has since been out of stock. What a pity because these bookmarks are of such fantastic value, either for oneself or as a gift. You wont be disapointed.

The brown dye used came off and stained the pages, so unfortunately not very practical. Lovely looking though.

One was ok the other the text at the bottom you could hardly read I bought these as a gift for an elderly couple to late to sent them back so I will have to rush about to find something else before I see them tomorrow disappointedUpdate.After I complained about the quality the sender without any prompting from me sent me two replacements. I appreciate that gesture and although it was too late to pass on for my intended recipient. I still think it was a thoughtful thing to doThe second pair are better see second photo.

I have enjoyed using leather bookmarks for many years, and recently got two of these. They turned out to be the perfect thickness and stiffness for convenient use with all kinds of books. They are not too heavy to use with smaller paperbacks or too light or flexible to use with large hardcovers. I find the design tasteful, and I think the style and content of the religious theme is appropriate for Catholics as well as other Christians. These are not cheap items, but if you like quality accessories for enhancing your pleasure with reading real books, these are well worth the price.

These bookmarks are very well made and not flimsy like some others, the Bible verse is very powerful.
