Flawless by Gabrielle Union - Hydrating Curl Refresher Hair Spray for Curly and Coily Hair, 8 OZ

My curls are flawless with this product. It has been the only product that’s ever worked on my hair to keep my curls and control my frizz. My hair is naturally frizzy puffy and just wild. My curls with this product a slick they stay in place all day and no frizz I am actually confident to wear my hair down. This product does not make my hair crunchy or crusty and my curls still lock in place. This is the only product I use and I stick to it. My hair is a 3B so pay attention to the product type. It works perfect for my hair :)

This product is nice and light. It gives a really nice shine to the hair but most of all it really activates the curls which are so relaxed and natural looking.

The smell is fantastic! It adds a soft shine to your locks but I’m not sure why it is advertised for thickly, heavy, curls because none of the oils used in it are actually supposed to be used on thick, curly hair. The oils used are typically used on thin, fine hair and thus it definitely adds a little shine - which fades in a few hours leaving hair as dull as before. Personally, I use it as a top oil after I’ve used my argon or avocado.

This is a great product. I have loose curls, but I do need moisturizing products for my hair. Oddly, I find most moisturizing sprays dry my hair. Perhaps because they contain protein? Many curly hair products do. Too much protein can be very drying. Curl Refresher is very moisturizing, but not gunky or greasy. The only thing that I would say is a possible improvement is that you can't really "spray" it on your hair. The product is too thick to actually spray it. So, I dispense 10 or so pumps into my hand and run it through sections of my hair. It would probably negatively impact the effectiveness of the product if they added more water to make it thinner so that it would spray. So, I will continue to apply it using my hands.

I do have to point out the fact of when this flawless collection for curls first dropped, I was the first to grab and try it. Worked wonders with my unruly curly hair. For some reasons unknown, the collection no longer works & it’s very disappointing. Having curly hair it’s hard enough to find any product & definitely a product that works with your curls not against it.

Perfect for natural hair but I also use them on my sons locs and my daughters braids. We all tend to have dry scalps. These restoring drops are perfect for restoring and moisturizing natural and protective styles.

LOVE, LOVE. LOVE IT!! I hated wearing my natural curl because after it would dry, my hair would be stiff, dry & dull looking; not to mention the shrinkage! When I saw Gabriel had a hair care line, I thought I’d see what she offered & the testimonials....and I did. But honestly, when I saw the prices, I was sold to give it a try! I watched the videos & did it the same way. And my hair turned out FABULOUS! It didn’t dry hard, but stayed soft. I used the oil with the curl cream & the hydrating spray & my hair stay shiny & healthy looking! I am SO amazed! And the value!!! I will not use anything else. This is my “go to”. I have medium porosity 3c/4a hair and my mom has low porosity 3b/3c hair and this stuff wrecked our hair. I used it in the mornings to just refresh my curls and not only did it not refresh my curls, it dried out my hair and made it tangled. It also puts a weird coating on your hair. It did the same to my moms hair: dried it out, didn’t refresh the curls, strange coating that changes the feel of the hair. Save your money.
