Awesome!
First time using polyurethane and this sponge is amazing!! Most of my table is pretty smooth, there are a few streaks but I’m 100% positive that’s because of me still learning and working in a badly lit area with no room to move. But for a first timer I’d say I did a pretty good job with the help of this sponge. Easy to clean, simple to use, and seems durable. No pieces of the sponge was left behind and the job was quickly done. I would highly recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It was recommended by someone Ease of application: Super easy to use and easy to clean Ease of use: Fits perfectly in my hand, I used a high quality vanish, used the sponge and it went on my furniture project like butter! Washability: Soap and warm water clean-up with water based product, super easy!

Best value!!
I will only buy this brand blue sponge from now on. I have the original more expensive “blue sponges” and these are no different. I had no problems whatsoever. I had no streaking at all using Gator Hide. It was nice having so many when I wanted to take a break. I could just wash the one I was working with and when I was ready to start back up just grab another one. It comes with a nice mesh bag to keep them all in too!!!

Easy to use
Easy to use applicator. I used it to apply poly acrylic on a table. Easy to rinse out and let dry and use again.

Smaller than I expected, but a good size for fitting inside of wax tins or stain cans
These are the perfect size for fitting inside of stain cans or wax tins to get product out of. I like the fact that they have a sort of built-in handle by the way they’re shaped. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because they seem to tear pretty easily so I wish they were a little stronger. If they were stronger, then I wouldn’t be blowing through them so fast and they’re not necessarily cheap for what you get out of them for use.

Much better than brushing.
These little sponges worked perfect for refinishing my secretary!

No brush strokes
I was painting laminate and no matter the brush I used, you could see brush strokes. These sponges created a nice, smooth finish. They were easy to clean and I am sure I will be able to use them for quite a long time. These were well worth the money and I would definitely buy again

Best invention!
Replaced those foam brushes. Used this to put clear coat on and no marks. Easy to clean. Will use often for chalk painting and stain application
