Decent sauce but nothing extraordinary
I've been using HP Sauce for about 3 weeks now, and honestly, it's just okay. When I ordered it, I was expecting something really special based on all the hype around British sauces, but it turned out to be pretty average. The taste is fine – tangy with a bit of sweetness and some spice. It works well enough with grilled meats and sandwiches, which is what I mainly use it for. The consistency is good, not too thick or runny. That said, there's nothing that really makes it stand out from other sauces I've tried. It's not bad at all, but I'm not sure I'd specifically order it again when there are so many other options available at similar or lower prices. The 255g bottle lasted me about two weeks with moderate use. Overall, it does the job if you want a tangy sauce for your meals, but don't expect it to blow your mind. It's just a decent, middle-of-the-road condiment.

Old and fake
1 year old product. Paid 195 but received a product that costs 175 (as per MRP). Ordered a glass bottle and got a plastic bottle. Not happy with the product. Looks old

I wanted HP sauce in a glass bottle because I'm fed up with cluttering my fridge up with condiments & the like in plastic bottles. Years ago, a glass bottle sat in a cupboard for months and nobody contracted food poisoning! However, it's now quite difficult to source sauces in glass bottles - despite what plastic is doing to the planet - so I was pleased to be able to find this, which was delivered promptly.
