Great product but boxes arrived damaged
I add moth balls to my outdoor garbage can and line with a large plastic bag and both keep my can clean and smelling well Also the odor of the moth balls helps prevent larvae from developing in the high heat of the South. Regrettably my last order of 4 boxes arrived smashed as they were sent in USPS soft envelope. Better to ship in a box or add to an order shipppng in a box

Holy cow they are strong....
We had a huge problem with bats in our barn...we tried multiple things to get them to go away: put up bat boxes all around the outside, started sealing the barn as best we could, left lights out to not attract bugs, tried various sprays, etc but nothing worked. Then we read somewhere that you can keep bats away with mothballs, so I bought these to give them a try. We put about 4 balls or so in a cheesecloth baggy and nailed them up in the area the bats were prone to stay in; we had about 6 baggies nailed up in total along the ceiling. We only left them in the barn for about 5 days and then we just could not stand the smell any longer. These are WAAAAY more potent than I thought they'd be! But, even after taking them all down I can say that the bats are not back. This did the trick of keeping them away and, fortunately, after taking them down the smell went away too. But they are VERY potent. I wouldn't touch them without gloves on and would throw the gloves away immediately.

Not receiving 40oz
I just unboxed the moth balls. I enjoy the smell of them. The fragrance of lavender is there faintly. I hope it will grow in the room now that I have spread them in the house. The moth balls stay fragrant longer than air fresheners that’s why I buy them. 4 boxes 4oz a box this is NOT 40oz’s what happened??

Gearing up for rodents, snakes, and like pests in non evasive way. Sprinkle around your your items and lavender smell is pleasant.
