Magic Structure Fish Habitat works to attract fish in several ways. First, the device itself has a surface upon which aquatic plants and microscopic organisms attach. In effect this structure becomes a living structure which in turn attracts the zoo plankton which feed these plants and organisms. The Game fish feed on small organisms which in turn attract larger fish and so on up the food chain. Second, fish of all types seek security from predators. The design of this structure creates safety for game fish and invertebrates by creating a barrier to predators which are not as agile as their prey in navigating through the structure. This in turn, degrades the element of surprise required for successful foraging. Third, the design of this structure provides a location from which a predator may ambush prey. This happens because the structure provides concealment for the predator thereby allowing the prey to move within striking distance before the predator is detected.
