Just what I needed to fix my speaker. Was only working while plugged in even though it said 100% battery. Easy to install with many YouTube videos to choose from. Took me about 5 minutes to do although I have already had it apart before to replace a blown passive radiator, but still was easy to do. Just take your time so you don't break anything and it will go smoothly.

This worked perfect for my EU boom. Saved me $175 to replace. I use some online instructions through YouTube and it took less than 15 minutes.

I purchased this replacement battery twice over 3 years and yes, I know I’m trying to hold onto an older UE Megaboom speaker, but the speaker works perfectly when it works. The latest battery I purchased was in 2025 and the speaker is used as a garage speaker when I’m working in the yard or on the cars. The latest one didn’t even last a year and I hardly used the speaker. I would not recommend buying this brand battery again. Check elsewhere.

When my UE MegaBoom 3 speaker needed a new battery and the OEM option was nowhere to be found, I turned to this replacement battery. Despite being slightly larger in capacity than the original (3130mAH/22.5Wh 7.2V vs 3400mAh/25.16Wh 7.4V), it fit seamlessly and worked without any issues. After three months of usage, I can confidently say that this replacement battery does the job well. It holds a charge effectively, keeping my speaker running for extended periods without trouble. One crucial tip for users is to perform a calibration when installing the new battery. Charging it to 100%, allowing it to discharge completely, then leaving it plugged in overnight ensures accurate battery percentage detection by the speaker's circuitry. It was super easy to dissamble the speaker just be careful with the gasket, and forget about putting your speaker in the water after this replacement, at least I wont even try to do it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance of this replacement battery. It may not be identical to the OEM option, but it gets the job done reliably, keeping my UE MegaBoom up and running for extended listening sessions.

Definitely look up a YouTube or I fixit video on how to replace the battery. The speaker is really not made to be taken apart and put back. Just be careful when taking the parts off. Other than that, it's perfect for bringing an older speaker back to life. Just don't think it will still be waterproof afterwards. Mine looks pretty good after. Just a few nicks in the grill.

It works. What more to say about a battery? LOL Took me 20 mins to take the UE Megaboom's lid off. You gotta use A LOT of muscle! The tool that came with it didn't help much. It broke. So I had to use a butter knife.

Won't hold charge like it's supposed to anymore.Fully charge last about 30-40 minutes. It did hold a few hours charge playing, but very quickly stopped holding that much juice.

Battery worked great for 6 months then stopped charging. Would not recommend
