Happy with it overall but it's far from razor sharp
I receive my kirkiri today. Happy with it overall but it's far from razor sharp. And the fit and finish is not the best. You can feel where the tang and handle do not meet smoothly. The Fuller ground near the handle is roughly ground in and very wavy. It won't even go in the sheath that was provided. For only $90 I'm not completly disappointed but if I would have spent any more than that this thing would be on its way back immediately. Hopefully this helps

Awesome Kukri
Outstanding! I have several Kukris from Nepal, but this is the nicest one yet. These are not precisely computer cut, flashy, tacticool toys - like so much else on the market. These are super tough, durable tools - a toughness and edge holding that to this day only comes from forging and differential tempering. Are there tool marks? Of course! Is the finish perfectly even? No! Will it cut straight through anything made by Benchmade, Cold Steel, Kershaw, Gerber, Buck, etc.? Absolutely! Kukris are NOT machetes. They, like parangs, golok, etc. are used as long bladed hatchets, hand axes, tomahawks, or brush axes. With the proper technique a good kukri will easily out-chop an equal sized and weighted hatchet. BTW, the grip is supposed to be smooth shaped that way! If it bothers you, then you do not know how to use a kukri - watch any of the many good YouTube videos on proper technique.Kukris are far more versatile than a hatchet or tomahawk as well. I have been using them for trail maintenance for several years on miles of recreational trails that are voluntarily maintained by a local club. When having to carry gear for miles over varied terrain, you learn what can do the most for the least weight and bulk - kukris win hands down!
