5OZ WOOZY BOTTLES

As someone who has gotten really into making my own hot sauce, finding the right bottles is half the battle. These 5oz bottles are, in a word, perfect. ​First, the quality of the glass is excellent. It's thick, sturdy, and crystal clear, which really shows off the color of my sauces. I "hot pack" my sauce (bottling it while it's still very hot to ensure it's shelf-stable), and these bottles handled the thermal shock with no problem at all. ​The real selling point is the complete three-part sealing system: ​Dripper Insert: The plastic orifice reducer fits snugly into the opening and gives you that classic, controlled dash or drip you want from a hot sauce bottle. ​Screw Cap: The cap twists on tightly and feels very secure. I've had zero issues with leaks, even after shaking them vigorously. ​Shrink Bands: This is the pro touch! The included shrink bands are easy to apply with a heat gun (or even a powerful hairdryer) and they give my homemade sauce a professional, tamper-proof finish. Great starter kit for the homemade gift giver. Comes with all the pieces, bottles, spacer, caps and sealable tops. Be sure to have a heat source to activate the seals, craft dryer or hair dryer works if you have to.

Bought them for hotsauce. They work well, none were broken upon arrival. They have a bit of an obscure seam about halfway down the bottle so not perfectly see through, but once filled its not noticeable. Worth noting if you're filling with clear liquid maybe. I'd buy again. They're decent quality, and so far no leaks. Glass is thicker than expected. Knocked one off the counter onto my wood floor and it was fine. I use star san on the lids then hot bottle and its been working well.

Perfect for my hot sauce and vanilla extract party favors. Packaging was effective. No flaws in a bottles and the top wraps work great! Would buy again.

soooo i purchases these not to add hot sauce (hot sauce in my bag swag) but to use as a substitute as wine bottles for party favors. I am going to tell you know these bottls were wayyyy bigger than i thought they were going to be but they did serve the purpse. the sealing was very easy just take a blow dryer or a heat gun if you have one and blow the heat on that bad boy seal and you are good to do. What i did have an issue with is the little tiny holes on the top of the seal that had some dripping but i dont know if it was becuase i didnt use the little plastic bottle sealers. so that can be the reason why but besides that it served the purpose

So happy with this purchase. The bottles arrived well before the expected delivery date and were packaged extremely well. I ran the glass through the dishwasher on a sanitize cycle and it removed the mild chemical/plastic smell that the bottles came with. I washed the lids and dropper inserts by hand with soap and water. The shrink wrap seals are an added level of professionalism. To apply, I just dipped the bottles in a bowl of hot water and it worked perfectly. If you're using boiling water, give it a minute or two to cool down so there isn't too much thermal shock.
