When ill, ElectroRice was the only help.
When I was ill, this was the only food I could get down. The flavor and warmth made it very easy to stomach.

Awful taste
While taste is subjective I found it un-drinkable. I like packets of electrolyte drink mix I’m sticking with UL or Propel! Maybe it was the rice powder? It tasted pasty and thick. I seem like the outlier so as I said taste is subjective and this just didn’t work for me.

Not a very good taste.
I ordered this for my husband to help build up his electrolytes. The taste was awful. He could not drink it. But the order came in a timely manner.

Flavor is not too bad, but the product gave me GI problems, leaving me disappointed
I love rice. I love strawberries. I have children. And I live in the desert. All of these are considerations when I chose this product. The product has a very horchata-like consistency, which makes sense since it is rice based. I first tried it after dealing with the effects of some drug therapies I was under. The flavor was nice and not too sweet. I can say that I felt worse, but I didn’t feel much better or different after drinking it for two days. My next use went to one of our children who was dealing with the flu, or at least flu-like conditions. We typically reach for Pedialite, but I remembered I had a few packets left. My daughter liked the flavor, and we could see the color return to her face after she drank most of her cup and got some rest. My final experience came after being outdoors in the heat and feeling very nauseous. I mixed up a package and started to drink the tasty strawberry beverage. For some reason, about half-way into the cup, I had very bad stomach pains, and bloating. I waited a while before drinking more, curious to see if anyone else in the family was having GI issues after the picnic lunch we had prior. Just me, though, and this was the only thing I had that was different. It could have been anything, but I think this was the culprit. I believe this could and should be a great product. It is not like reaching for the typical electrolyte drink that gets dumped over the coach’s head after the team wins the big game, but the ingredients and the science behind it make me wanting and hoping for a better experience. I have a pretty strong stomach but this just didn’t work out for me.

Flavor is important
Product Review: ElectroRice Anti-Dehydration Electrolyte Supplement Use During Bouts of Diarrhea and Vomiting, Natural Rice-Based Oral Prevention of Dehydration, for Children and Adults, 5 Strawberry Flavored PacketsWhen my kids are under the weather with diarrhea, vomitting, and I need to rehydrate them, I found that the limiting factor sometimes is the flavor in these oral rehydration solutions. It's about pushing enough fluids into them to maintain adequate hydration levels. This box will whip up a liter of solution, which in the grand scheme of things is not adequate for even a day's worth, but coupled with pushing water and other fluids, can suffice. As long as the flavor is palatable that is.The kids think this is drinkable, resembles strawberry, and I do not find the taste offensive, not good by any stretch, but not too bad either. It's a win in my book.

Taste Better In Milk
I use electrolytes all the time especially during or for after exercise as without I become really faint. Usually in a tablet form but this type is powder, so more suitable for the home. Taste wise it was ok when mixed with water but I tried it with a little milk instead and found it to taste better. I used these after a bout of cluster migraines which lasted a week and used daily to be sure I wasn't lacking in anyway. I found them useful but price point wise a little expensive.

They are ok
This is a 5-pack of sachets that help to supplement you if you have an upset stomach with vomiting and diarrhoea they can help to settle the stomach and replenish some of the lost electrolytes and prevents dehydration.I have used a more well-known brand so it was interesting to compare when I got a bit dehydrated in the hot weather and was stuck in traffic. The sachets are smaller in size and you get 5 rather than 6 sachets. The flavour is acceptable, not overly sweet but I did need to drink several cups of water to get rid of my dry mouth. It is quick to dissolve and mix as well.It is ok, it did seem to help settle my upset stomach. Very handy to have in the cupboard and car.

Great when you need rehydrating!
There are many reasons you can need rehydrating not least when you are sick, or if you have had the runs, been vomiting or just sweating excessively either because of menopausal hot flashes or just very hot weather.I've never had electrolytes from rice before, and was a little relieved they tasted quite nice and refreshing and have a decent expiry date.Obviously if you or your child are sick you will get through them quicker than if just intermittently to 'top up' or give yourself a boost now and again. But for only 5 sachets they are a little more expensive than usual electrolyte packs, so while I recommend them, I personally wouldn't buy them in the future because they are on the pricey side for only 5 sachets.

Very effective
Works really well and doesnt taste too bad. Easy to dissolve in water and have in around 2-3 mouthfuls. If used as instructed these are effective in a few hours. Help you feel better and more hydrated.

It's functional and does the job, creamy mouthfeel
This white powder dissolves easily in cold water, the mouthfeel is strangely creamy which is unusual but not unpleasant. I wouldn't really be able to identify the flavour as strawberry if I hadn't read the package, and it's no particularly sweet - which is exactly what I prefer. It was much more palatable than the sweetener-strong blackcurrant flavoured alternatives I'd have in the past. It's functional and does the job, but is not particularly my idea of a good time but that's fine as long as it is effective.
