I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Where has this BEEN all of my life?!? I used this originally as a recommendation from a friend to help my plants survive when I go away on vacation. then, I started using it in my outdoor plants and beds, too, as it helps during the high heat of the Carolinas to keep the plants hydrated in the heat, without daily watering. The little gummy beads swell up and store water, and release into the plant as the plant needs them (make sure to follow the instructions- and a little goes a long way). I also use in conjunction now with another Miracle Grow product that i found for my plants in pots- Miracle Grow Moisture Control Potting Mix, also bought on Amazon. These products are worth of the Miracle Grow name and are truly game changers!

Keeps the moisture in the soil as advertised.
Perfect for mixing in potting soil to help keep the moisture in the pot. It seems to work. A little goes a long way! Good value. Not sure about longevity as only using in annual flower pots.

Soak in water first and you're golden!!
These work very well, and especially appreciated when we travel and know our plants won't patch if we go a few days without watering. Don't mix in dry, or your plants will pop out of the ground/containers with a heavy rain!! I am never without these magic crystals.

They hold lots of water
It's been raining for days & the crystals in my potted plants are absorbing it all. They are the size of large grapes & are overflowing into large piles next to planter. I hope they are animal safe because squirrels have collected & made piles in the shade. It's in the 90s so probably feels nice to lay in a pile of wet jelly.

small but incredible
i didnt expect with just a small amount placed on the soil. it would grow is so big that it errodes and lifts the soil. and it really helps maintain soil moisture.

Really helps with planting and potting seedlings.
Makes growing seeds and seedlings MUCH easier. These are NOT perlite, as I was told at nursery. Better.

I was a little disappointed when I saw how small the bag was. I just get my bag haven’t use it yet, but I will soon. I saw the product on you tube and wanted to try it.
