I mean, it does what it's meant to
Not much to say, it's got a job (amplify audio) and it does the job. Even came with a pin thing that I could optionally put on it to use a breadboard wire with it, didn't use it but that's pretty cool to have as an option. Also came with a little port I could attach to the speaker side, which again I didn't use but that's a cool thing to get with it

Packs a Punch
Significantly increased the output of my 8 ohm arduino speaker. Wiring was straightforward (picture included). Note that the connection to between the speaker and the amp requires soldering.

Great little board
The media could not be loaded. I ordered 2 to boost the output on my projector which had an audio output for headphones. I needed to power 2 speakers and a subwoofer for Halloween. They worked perfectly!

Its not bad for a class D amplifier
Its not bad for a class D amplifier. Adafruit says you don't need a filter on the end of it, but I put one on anyways. This thing is slightly noisy without a LC filter. If your thinking of driving 32 ohm earbuds steer clear of this. This amplifier relies on current draw of an actual 1-2 watts loudspeaker and will easily overdrive and distort earbuds. I needed this amplifier for long term battery life on 3AA's (Adafruit says it pulls 1uA in shutdown) however the specs are wrong. There is a 10k (SMT 1002) resistor on the board that pulls .5mA so that is no where near 1uA! Just remove that resistor and wire to SD to vcc or ground. : )

Good sound quality
I used this to amplify a digital .wav sound of a Navy ship's horn. Plenty of volume.

Great for costuming/cosplay
It works GREAT! It just arrived today, I added it to my project and the audio is loud and clear. I would definitely buy again. btw- I'm creating a "Power Droid" costume (i.e. "Gonk") for my son and needed something that could amplify the audio from the Mini Audio FX Board (Adafruit). This worked just great for his costume!
