Built for a lifetime
Great design. SOLID! It's heavy, it's metal, it's handsome & functional (& understated. The only logo is the monochrome PRS bird on the base). Spending $200 on a guitar stand was a bit daunting but this is worth every penny. It's perfect.

Great and safe stand for the home
Emphasis on “the home” because it is far to heavy and bulky to tote to gigs. Which it needs to be; this configuration needs a heavy base for stability. It is secure and easy to use, and looks great.

Great stand, you might add padding to the back
I looked at the YouTube video mentioned by a prior reviewer before I purchased this (sorry, Amazon, not from you). The Tuber mentions the thin padding on the post, and he's right. I added additional padding. This stand is more sturdy than the usual short tripod stands, which are a fine for a light weight like the PRS but wobbly with something heavy like an Ibanez Artcore in them. And, for those of you playing in a small space, the second picture shows you don't have to worry about banging the back of the headstock if you initially put your tripod stand too close to the wall.
