For the price it's a good deal but watch that gap - might be wee bit of a fire hazard.It's simply a U-shaped piece of translucent piece of plastic. You insert it into an outlet, and then you can insert your plug, which will straddle it on the sides.. So it's probably exerting pressure outward on the prongs. However, because of that top part of the U, you can't get the plug all the way into the outlet, which concerns me just a little bit. About a millimeter gap.It provides a very tight fit that might be too tight... you might want to shave or sand the plastic insert a little bit..

Let's put it into perspective: For what it is, they are outrageously expensive, BUT they're cheaper than buying all new outlets, spending many frustrating hours trying to get dh to swap them out, having to hear him cuss and swear while swapping them out, or worse yet having to call an electrician to replace them. So,I would buy them again without hesitation because not one plug has slipped out of the outlet since installing.

I used the product, and it worked out well. That being said, I ended up replacing my electrical outlet. I bought this item out of curiosity, to try out, but my outlet was broken internally, which is why I replaced it. I found that if you're going to use the outlet temporarily, such as using a mixer or can opener that you use, then put away, the item is a pain because it falls off or out most times. But, if it's for an item that will stay plugged in, such as a clock or coffee maker used daily, then this product works just fine.

These work perfectly. They truly only need to go in the outlets that plugs slip out of easily as they make a good outlet, quite tight and will come out with the plug. All of the ones I’ve used in loose outlets, hold the plugs in and stay in place when you pull the plug out. Great simple product.

These are actually amazing! I moved into an old house with old outlets and my chargers kept falling out of the wall and it because so frustrating to do the whole song and dance of placing it in a specific way to make it stay plugged in.. I was nervous at first about sticking something into an outlet other than a plug but these have proven to be effective and an affordable fix! I honestly need more haha

My wife loves these plug inserts as before the plug from the cord of the vacuum cleaner would constantly pull out of the outlet with minimum force. I never knew that many wife knew so many swear words. These inserts kept the plug snugly inserted into the outlet. The only issue is that these inserts are easily removed when you pull the plug from the outlet. Thus, you have to remember to retrieve them if they fall out when removing the plug. And since these inserts are clear plastic they can be hard to find if they are not initially retrieved. But their use is much easier than taking the time to replace the outlet.

Snug plug made it difficult putting the plug in, it was a little tight but happy to report that the plug has not fallen out of the socket since!! Before putting in the snug plug, items would fall out of the socket several times a day! Thank you for making this product!!
