How do you prevent the egg from being soggy ??

After it gets done one one side, I use a small spatula and I flip it. I don't like soggy sandwiches. Runny yokes don't work for me. I hope that this is helpful

Has anyone tried without bread? Like using scrambled eggs for "bread" and adding cheese/meat?

I believe that using the egg versus bread would become a very messy sandwich. In my opinion if you use a English muffin or the thin sandwich bread(that is real thin) would be the best. Cooks egg and meat/cheese great.

Does it make a hard fried egg?

I bought this in order to make sandwiches similar to the McDonald's Egg McMuffin. It works just exactly as expected. I put the whole egg in the designated section, break the yolk and gently stir to mix with the white and, after cooking the recommended 5 minutes, it comes out perfectly. if you know the consistency of the McDonald's version of the egg, that's what is the result with this maker. I also made an egg by itself in the maker and it worked perfectly. The yolk is cooked through and none of the egg is at all runny.

Can you make soft taco shell ?

It’s not designed for that. It makes Egg McMuffin clones. That’s it.
