The final chapter in the popular film trilogy stars Jason James Richter (Free Willy) as Bastian, a teenager whose life is turned upside down when his father remarries. On his first day at a new school, Bastian is chased by a vicious gang called the Nasties, led by Slip (Jack Black, Gullivers Travels). Bastian hides in the library where he finds a magic book that writes itself according to the imagination of the reader. To escape the Nasties (and his troubles at home), Bastian wishes himself into Fantasia, the storybooks phantasmic world of incredible creatures. Its here, away from the pressures of the real world, that Bastian thinks hes safe. But when the Nasties take control of the book, his Fantasian friends get stuck on Earth, and its up to Bastian to save them.

Finally found the third never ending story bought just for that didn't care about the other, but wrinkle in time was good better than I thought and better then newer one.

I've watched this movie before, but probably about 20 years ago. The movie is great and fun! Also, it's Jack Blacks first movie credit.This is a great entry in the NeverEnding Story franchise. One that I highly recommend!

The movies are great and the actors who played Sebastian must've not wanted to star in them all,yet they're still good movies.
First off,actors have to audition and do certain things to get their roles.Second off,actors do not always want to star in a whole movie trilogy.Third off,be grateful that this movie trilogy even existsbecause it was once just a book and nothing moreand the book of The Never Ending Story can be found on Amazon.com.I liked all three movies.They are all different,all original and all radical.They all tell a story and the third one is honest about bullies.If you wanted different then you should ask two people something.The casting director and the actor as well one question:Why did y'all not have each movie similar?Otherwise try to enjoy the full movie seriesIt begins and ends good and the movie series is amazing.It is a movie after all and the actors are actingand they put on a fantastic show.

ruined the movie
OMG..IF you have seen The Neverending Story 1 or even 2..then you will cringe when you see 3. They ruined it.. Yes.. Jack Black is in it.. but it is nothing like the original movie..and is so far away from the norm' it is like they made the whole movie A JOKE. The story of "The Neverending Story" is a fantastical fantasy tale w/ good acting and very nice special effects and animation.. They took the Rockbiter who is a big as a mountain and has a deep sensitive voice and turned it into a goofy bad night at Comedy Central character about the size of an adult. Instead of a tale survived by a boy and his Father.. ( which each movie somehow has a new different boy and a different parent..)..THIS one is about a boy and his Mother.. ( who had died in the Neverending Story 1). It is like watching a comedy spoof of a good movie and they absolutely RUINED IT !! I wanted the complete set but I definately could have lived w/out this version. SAD ..very SAD..the Fantasia characters throw one liners out like they know all about the Human World and the innocent sweet princess is a joke as well. It is poorly acted and Falcor looks like a muppet version of a dog. He does not look real and fantastical like he does in 1. I was disappointed in the first five minutes and couldn't believe someone would actually give this 5 stars. What a joke.
