Overall it is a very well designed product as it takes much less space in the tank and gives my turtles more swimming space. However, there is an issue with the suction cups losing their stickiness over time (found a solution though, which is to keep the platform in place all the time and avoid loosening it. You can use paper towel to wipe it clean while keeping it in place instead of taking it down and washing it). After I posted the above review comment, now each platform comes with a spare pair of suction cups, which is super useful! Thanks a lot! Now my turtle is growing bigger and a single platform is not big enough for him anymore. I mounted two platforms next to each other so that he has enough space. This solution works pretty well for a year. Now the ramp becomes a little too short for him and he has trouble climbing up. Could you please consider have a variation of the platform with a longer ramp on its left side so that it would make it easier for a bigger turtle to climb up? I love this product. Turtle loves to bask on this. It fits our 15gal tank perfectly. I love the feeding pit. It helps keep soggy pellets from dirtying up the water. Its sturdy, cleans easily and sticks really well to the glass. Took no time to install and have had zero issues with it losing suction or falling. Its esthetically pleasing as well. Makes the tank look tidy and clean. I purchased other platforms and returned them pretty much immediately due to chipping paint or sharp edges or difficulty for our turtle to climb onto. This one though, I knew as soon as I installed it, it was a keeper. 100% satisfied with my purchase.

I recently had to purchase a bigger and better basking platform for my Mississippi Map Turtle, Blu!! I’ve had him for two years and he grew fast and he out grew his old basking platform. Plus, it was very prone to algae buildup, which was impossible to get completely off!! So, I found this translucent, kind of large for my needs and the ramp was ideal because he has long nails and the ramp has holes that helps him grip and climb on the top area. At, first as you know, if you have a pet turtle, he wasn’t feeling that change to his basking area. He bumped into a couple of times. He nipped at it a couple times too. He was swimming under it for an hour. So, it has a platform has trough for pellets. So, I thought it was good idea to lure him with food, it kinda worked!! He climbed half way up looked at the food and didn’t touch it, so not a good idea!! Plus, if left for awhile the food gets mushy!! But, finally after a couple of hours and destressing he got up there and he absolutely loves it, but it still took a day for him to stay and sleep on it for a time!! The suction cups are pretty great, sturdy for my needs. So, they seem to be strong and holding Blu’s weight….he’s only 4inches but he has some weight to him, he’s adorable when he’s all stretched out and taking his nap…just a funny note; seen him yawning…lol!! I would recommend this basking platform even though it’s plastic it’s not flimsy and it’s sturdy and is could handle weight on it.

I have an African side-neck turtle so she’s a larger turtle. I’ve gone through multiple ramps that have broken, suction cups failed, and generally are cheap plastic ramps. This one however is very sturdy and provides ample space. The suction cups are the game changer. Easy to install and they stick like glue. The extra set is great. Very pleased.

Suction cups are worthless they hold for a week then fall off glass ridiculous Dont buy waste of money and very frustrating

Purchased this for my turtle tank. Easy install. Easy to clean. Only negative thing I have to say is I need one wider because my turtle is getting bigger lol but I liked it so much I purchased another one. Thinking about a 3rd just so he has plenty of places to relax.

My turtle loves it but the downside is that she has a hard time getting on it.

Pleasantly surprised by this product. The suction cups hold well and the platform is big and sturdy enough to fit my adult res turtles. The price is good too.

My turtle is around 4 inches and it looks easy to climb on and off the platform. The sucking is good and is attached strongly to the tank. Good product overall

Looks as per pic, everything is fine except the main purpose which is sticking to the wall of the tank. Sticks until turtle gets on it and then floats to the bottom. Doesn't appear faulty.

I'm actually using this as a makeshift platform for my nano reef tank to create the illusion of a floating reef. So far it's been perfect for what I needed. Very sturdy and good weight capacity. I also added a clear acrylic display riser underneath for added support just in case.
