Excellent device for giga network
My requirements: 1. A router which supports ACT 1 gbps plan 2. For office work and home entertainment 3. Good coverage for at max 15 - 20 devices on a 1400 sqft flat After much research I came to a conclusion that, X60 1 pack would be the right fit. I found that only mesh routers are supported for 1 gbps and we need to focus on 5 ghz band on the description, 1200 mbps doesn't support 1 gbps, we need to get much higher. Since my flat is less than 1400 sqft, I got only 1 pack. This is serving very well. Installation can't get any easier than this with Deco app which is available for both Android and Apple platforms. If 1 pack is delivering this performance I wonder what it's like to have 3 pack. Most of the screenshots attached are for 100 or 200 mbps connections and I wonder why did they even get Deco. I attached some screenshots of speed tests by popular apps. Will post review after few days.

Really good product
Works like magic, connectivity in all the floors is excellent. The only challenge was in getting it set up. Not easy to configure the device. ACT folks had to do it a couple of times before it could be set up. We lost almost 2 days with the connection staying in Yellow and Red and not moving to Green. Not many folks are familiar with setting these devices. Not much help from Tp-Link as well, you are left to the knowledge and capabilities of the service providers (atleast in India). Check with the team to see if they have done the set up before (with challenges) before buying these. Once set up, it has been a great experience so far.

A good router stuck behind paywall
Signal strength : Good Ease of setup : Very Easy Speed : Great of it stays working Value for money: excellent if it stays working Range : Not 2900sqft, as that is calculated without walls made of cement and bricks. With walls in between it's way less. Features : Main features like antivirus, advanced parental controls are all blocker under paywall, which is why I will rate this a 3. Even after paying this much TP Link is asking for 3k per year for antivirus and 6k per year for advance parental control. Which is the discounted price for the first year. Better invest in Asus rt routers and you will get these features for free. NOTE: Amazon's service is very tricky now, be careful if you get a defective product which you might, then it's your headache to get it fixed from TP Link, even though Amazon delivered you the product and you are inside the replacement/return window. To return any TP link product, get the Job sheet/ denial letter from TP Link and then call Amazon that you have that. After then Amazon will take it back.

White Beast!
I have been trying to avoid buying an alien spaceship with 200 antennas to get a good wifi signal for my house. My previous one was quite low-powered and I had to upgrade the wifi router to make full use of the 140Mbps (Mbps not MBps) speed that I had recently upgraded to. And then after watching 50 youtube videos, I realised that wifi routers with antennas are a thing of the past. The mesh systems is the future! The sleek looking device with the lucrative compatibility with future and past mesh systems really tickled my fantasy! Installing was a little bit of a hassle but because my ISP provides a static IP. But once I figured out the subnet masks and stuff, it was a breeze and connected immediately. Internet speeds are blazing fast as usual and it rarely disconnects. And thankfully it doesn't have the alien spaceship look that I HATE so damn much! 4 months into using the device and I don't think I have paid any attention to it. It sits quietly on the designated spot and does its job. Typical of how Wifi routers are supposed to be like!

Future proof and scalable
Got this as an upgrade to my old single band router and now I'm getting full speed, coverage is good and one unit is enough for 1500 sft apartment, main reason for getting this is future proof wifi 6 technology and ability to add more decos in case we need more coverage in all corners in the house, installation is simple and straight forward, just download the app and follow the instructions. Router does get slightly warm during usage so keeping it well ventilated will help. Overall satisfied with it for now, will update if any issues arises.

Not good with one mesh, very slow, look for other models or conventional router
I brought this router looking to use it in my media room as a wireless extender, but found out later that this can only be used in wired mode, but that was on me and I could live with it, but my other wifi 6 router from tp link gives me speeds of 260 down and 200 up. But this one is so poor that it doesn't cross 90mbps either way, same connections, same wires. I even checked it by replacing the default router, no use. And this doesn't work as part of the one mesh system also.. Overall a poor option if you want wifi 6 speeds. It's not even good for local network access let alone internet.. Don't buy.

It mostly worked for 2 years. Then the whole mesh (4 units) went fubar and can not even be factory-reset. A lot of good things about TP-Link. Price. Performance. Software. But system is not very reliable. It's erratic. It's almost impossible to troubleshoot. Even something as simple as a factory reset does not consistently work... (yes, the age-old paperclip procedure that they describe in their user manual!). I managed to resurrect 1 unit - not completely sure why the reset worked with that one. The other 3 are dead. Have a look at Reddit to get an idea of some of the weirdness. Afraid it's back to NetGear - while not a great price/performance ratio, at least it is stable.
