Does not work with older DVD or VCR
I ordered this to use an older VCR. I was unable to get a signal through to the TCL 4K TV. tried an older DVD player and same result, no signal. I think the technology in these new TVs are not backwards compatible. But then TV shows channels not in HD.

This cable does not work at all, is a piece of junk . The people who sell this are making Amazon look bad. Do not buy.

Connection to HDMI TV ?
Tried to connect DVD/VCR player with RCA connections to HDMI TV. Couldn’t get it to work. Discovered bought wrong device. Works for HDMI to RCA not in reverse.

Garbage item. Do not buy.
Wouldn't work, so we unplugged it and it came apart in the HDMI port. Garbage item. Do not buy this.
