Well designed and good price
Works very well, with simple controls, unlike some other brands. I don't plan to use the WiFi feature. The clamp works great and easy to adjust. This is also really quiet; you can barely hear it when it is on. Temperature is consistent and accurate enough. My last sous vide cooker started having problems after about a year. I've only used this one twice so far and will update this review after a few more months of consistent use.

Easy to use, wifi connectivity made monitoring it a breeze.
I have bought several Inkbird devices in the past and have been very satisfied with the quality, reliability and value they offer. So when I decided to give Sous Vide a try it was an easy decision to buy the Inkbird version vs the Anova model, with for comparison was about twice as expensive. The device arrived well packed and very quickly with Amazon prime in typical Inkbird fashion. I have never used a Sous Vide device so after watching a few YouTube videos on the subject I decided to vacuum seal a couple of NY strips and give it a try. The Inkbird machine quickly brought the water to temp. I cooked the steaks at 135 for about 4 hours and then seared it on my Weber Kettle. By far this is one of the best steaks I have ever cooked. It came out very tender and at the perfect temp. The Inkbird app made monitoring the water temp and the cook very easy. Also the WiFi setup on the device was very easy and intuitive. Couple of things that you may run into was that the device comes in C as default. It is very easy to change the setting on the app. The other thing was the temp was off by 1 degree, I was easily able to calibrate it by adjusting the offset in the app. Overall I am very happy with the device and I highly recommend it. It is well build and has a solid feeling. The LCD screen is easy to read. I believe it is a great value for money when you compare it with the feature set of the market leader.

Good unit that does what it's supposed to
I've been using the inkbird sous vide for 7 months now and it has worked great. It was a little wonky connecting it thru the app but otherwise easy to use. The only issue I've had was after 6 months of use, the clamp where the spring connects broke. It just came apart. But Inkbird support was very hassle free, and they resolved the issue quickly. It's one of 3 circulators I own. I also own the Yedi Infinity and Anova Precision Cooker. The inkbird tends to be my go to though, since it's easily quieter than the anova, although I do prefer the anova clamp and app. And universal cut sous vide lids fit around the inkbird whereas the Yedi is just a bit too wide. They all hold temp well and I start off with hot tap water or by heating water on the stove because they all take longer than I'd like to get to temp on their own. I do use all 3 circulators depending on the pot/container I'm using for the cook. Overall, the Inkbird is a solid unit.

Phone app is iffy, but the unit works well!
I have been cooking with sous vide for several years now, and it's a great way to prepare food! You can make a large variety of dishes including: custards, poultry, beef, pork, fish, ice cream, some vegetables, etc, all while maintaining a strict temperature control which ensures you will never have to worry about your food being either under or over cooked. It also allows you to easily reheat food you have cooked previously without having to overcook it on the stove or in the microwave- you just reheat it in the bag and it's heated to the same temperature you cooked it previously. When I first started I used an Anova Nano, which I thought was a good starter unit at the time (reasonably priced, well known company, good features), but I unfortunately had several issues with it. The first unit had issues with its water level sensor and wouldn't stay turned on. Anova upheld their warranty and sent me another unit which worked well for several years, but eventually gained a terrible fan whine which made it very unpleasant to use. The Nano was already very loud with its fan, but this made it unusable. With the warranty expired, I set out to find a new unit, and this is the one I eventually decided on. This unit is: much more powerful (1000W according to the listing) meaning it can heat water quickly (it would take the Nano ages to bring the water to temp, probably at least an hour), is almost whisper quiet, and offers many of the same features as my old Anova device. Plus, it's MUCH cheaper than something like an Anova! It comes with built in WIFI and an app that you can connect it to in order to set the temperature, timer, calibrate, change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, etc. For the most part, the app works as intended, but for some reason I never receive any notifications on my phone once the timer is completed. I get around this by setting a seperate timer on my phone, or having my home assistant like Alexa or Google remind me once it's time. Overall, I highly recommend this product!

Great Tool for Perfect Cooking
A great sous vide that gets the temperature right every time. A must need when cooking tricky meats and keeping consistent temperatures for long periods. We’ve used it with vegetables too and easily attaches and easy to set and forget.

Sturdy, Quiet, and Easy to Use
This may not be the sleekest design out there, but it has so many other virtues that make it a top choice for me. In person, the unit is a bit larger and bulkier than I expected. It has a functional appearance, but feels rugged in somewhat of a commercial way. I love the fact that it so quiet. I can not even tell that it is running over the low level white noise of my central air conditioning system. Some of the more popular brands are actually loud and annoying. I can tolerate the sound of a blender or mixer for a few minutes or so, but not a loud sous vide that is whining for 2 hours or more. Functionally, my unit heats up really quickly and holds a steady temperature in all areas of the pot to within about half a degree of accuracy when tested with a digital thermometer. I have not used the app yet, but the touch controls are fairly simple and easy to navigate. The display is bright and clear. I'm not sure that the app is needed. The clamp is generously sized and holds its tension well. The only minor drawback with the clamp is that it doesn't adjust to fit lower height pots without having to tilt the stick on an angle. It's ideally for pots that are between 7 1/2" to 10" high. Overall, this sous vide feels and works a lot like a commercial grade product and is a pleasure to use. I believe that it cooks food as well as more expensive models. I can't speak to the long term durability, but for now, I would buy this again.

User interface is terrible, beeps are annoying.
I got this to replace an el-cheapo $40 unit I got as my first introduction to sous vide cooking. That first one lasted me 5 years and worked flawlessly until it fell off the counter and the plastic impleller housing shattered. I would have bought anohter one in an instant if it was still available. This pile of garbage looked nearly identical, except for the controls on top, so I bought it. Big mistake. While it does seem to heat the water faster, and has a lower minimum water level, the user interface and controls are absolutely awful. The touch buttons on the top are way too sensitive and have zero tactile feedback. When trying to change the temperature, you end up hitting other buttons and either canceling it, or just starting the machine. Changing the temperature during a cook reuqires at least 3 or 4 presses of the set button plus the temperature change, otherwise it just reverts back to the previous temperature. I know this because it took me 3 tries to get the temperature changed after walking away for 5 minutes and coming back to see that it was not set. I didn't even bother with the WIFI part as I see no practical use for it. It's sous vide, the whole point is that you don't have to monitor it constantly. Set the temperature, walk away for 4-24 hours. Same with the timer, what is the point? Why would you ever want it to just go off without you actually being there to do something about it? It's not like you can leave the cooked food in the water bath cold unless you want food poisoning. Lastly, why is there a rating category for "flavor" the product has absolutey zero impact on the flavor of anything I cook with it. My chosen seasoning and cooking time/temperature do. If I had to rate it for "flavor" it would be sour. This thing sucks. The search continues....
