Deluxe Fabric Shaver

A very big disappointment. I've had a small shaver for years and it has worked wonderfully; still does. I expected the DELUXE, with more shaving area, to be at least the same quality, and cover the fabric much faster. But it's not made well and the batteries keep falling out. Also it isn't designed properly to move the lint away from the blades and I have to continually lift and shake it, or it starts smearing lint over the fabric I'm trying to get lint off of!!

This is the first fabric shaver I've used so I don't have a point of comparison, but I have loved it so far. It is great to take sweaters and pants that have gotten pill-y and be able to make them look mostly new again. I haven't had issues with it snagging on fabric unless I accidentally feed a corner or edge or a sleeve or something into it. It doesn't always get tiny stray wisps but I don't know if this is expected of fabric shavers. It handles pills well.

This worked (I used it plugged into the wall) for about 10 minutes, then the motor died and its completely useless now.I wanted to get another brand I had gotten my sister last year, but they no longer sell it, so I decided to try this one because it was inexpensive. You get what you pay for.I don't have anything to compare it to, but didn't even finish de-fuzzing my sweater dress when it died. I will be going to BB&B to get a mid-priced one when I have a chance.

I've had one of these for a while and it finally gave out so I bought another one to replace it. I've had quite a few sweaters that have been resurrected by using this shaver. If you have clothes that sometimes need to be shaved, you can't go wrong with this item, but you need to buy the one that runs on electricity and not battery power.

if I could give this no stars I would. Felt like it would fall apart in my hands. Arrived and I was unable to close it with the batteries inside. I hated having to pay shipping to send it back, but I did return it. You get what you pay for this is no deal

This is one of the greatest little gadgets I've purchased in quite some time. The lint container doesn't go on and off easily but other than that this product definately performs as advertized. Run the shaver over a pair of cotton socks that are covered with little nubbies and, voila . . . the nubbies are gone.

Does what it says it does. The batteries make it a bit heavy. Also I had to be careful with spandex tops, it chewed through the fabric and made a hole.

Every home needs one of these. Works beautifully. Arrived as expected, and works as advertised. Saved me a lot of headaches when cleaning sweaters.
