I love this spa
I have had a Spa2Go for many years- pretty much since they first came out with this spa (12 or more years!). I use it almost every day. It is a very inexpensive way to have a spa- and I find it more comfortable than most spas that I have used, because the bottom and sides are basically air mattresses, and I can pretty much float in the water (I am 5'6")- no room is taken up with seats.I love the tech support and customer service, which is provided by Oceantis. They have always been friendly and helpful, and have sometimes extended warranties for me. Given the low price for this spa, it is amazingly reliable, but parts do wear out on any spa (hot water and chemicals work against extreme longevity), and through the years, I have bought both replacement parts and a new spa. My last experience was typical of the extraordinary lengths that the company will go to service a problem. I bought a spa in 2011, and the pump started leaking in 2012. I could not find my paperwork, and was really unsure about whether the warranty was still in effect. I was leaving town for 6 weeks the next day, so I had no time to call them to discuss it. 6 weeks later, I was sure that the pump was out of warranty, and I was prepared to just bite the bullet and buy a new one. I called the company to get them to send me a shipping label so that I could send them the defective pump (to avoid filling the landfill needlessly). Instead of taking back the pump, which they would have been able to repair and sell to another customer refurbished, they authorized a free repair- saving me $450!I do not understand why other reviewers are so negative about this company. The story above describes only one of many favorable interactions that I have had with their support. I highly recommend the company and their products!

so far so good!
I was a little bit worried about getting the Spa-2-Go as there have been many bad reviews about the power pack failing very frequently and bad customer service. I purchased the Spa-2-Go on 3-10-2010, so its been over a month and everything is still working great!(keeping fingers crossed)It was very easy to set up, I have it inside in a second floor apartment building. I was very happy that the floor supports the weight. (that part was a little scary...) I don't fill it all the way to the fill line, just to prevent splashing on the floor and walls, instead its a couple inches below the fill line.I had some trouble with getting the bromine level correct.. I also purchased the combo spa chemical kit, it has the bromine tablets and the floater... I originally put 1 tablet in the floater and opened it by one slot, but after a couple days that did not seem to do anything. I finally figured out that your supposed to fill up the floater with bromine tablets, and now the levels are fine. (still just 1 slot open)I also read in the manual that failure to maintain proper PH and regular filter cleaning / replacement can lead to the power pack no longer heating. So maybe that's why a lot of people have had problems. It is a little bigger then I expected... For those who aren't to good with inches... 74 inches is a little over 6 feet. (outer diameter) and 58 inches is a little bit under 5 feet. (inner diameter) That didn't sink in with me until I got it home and was trying to set it up and I had to rearrange things a little. =-) So it is quite big... bigger then what you get in a hotel room. You probably could fit 4 people comfortably enough but I never learned to share... the most I've had in mine is 2, which is very nice. The temperature does go down a bit once you turn the blowers on, but if you have it at 104 and your in it for 15 minutes it goes down to like 102, so its not really a big deal... that's still plenty hot, and your only supposed to stay in it for 15 minutes if its above 98. It heats back up fast enough for me not to notice that it was low. I also like to set it to about 100, then use the blowers for 15 minutes, then its about the right temperature that for me to watch a movie without overheating.I purchased it for 499.99 and I think it was definitely worth it. I am very happy with the Spa-2-Go and I use it about every day!

Bummed
I have purchaed 2 of these over the space of 4 years. First one lasted 3 months, same with the second. The heating element went both times. Company told me I could have it shipped back to them and repaired at MY expense. I needed the spa for physical therapy and felt let down by the product and the company. I no longer have the funds to replace the spa so have no pain relief and an empty pocket book :(

you get what you pay for
Didn not last a year. First the inflatable tub starts leaking air and I could not patch it. Had to buy a new inlatable tub. Then, the motor goes out. Apparently there are some filters made for this model in which the black spongy ring on the bottom of the filter disintegrates and fouls up the motor. Buy filters ONLY from the manufacturer. This spa may be suitable in limited settings, such as taking it with you on your RV. But, be prepared to continuously replace the components. I am buying a REAL molded solid spa next time. cheaper in the end, and I can use it outside in cold weather. The inflatables you cannot unless you own an electricsl company.

however is EXCELLENT! They were always friendly and helpful
Had this for 3 years. The pump was quite a problem. Had to have the water in the tub so high for it to function properly that when you turned on the bubbles water splashed out of the tub. First year I had to send the motor back for warranty repairs. No cost for the repair, but needed to pay $60.00 shipping charges to send in and $60.00 shipping for them to send it back. Second year it needed repairs again. They mailed the parts and talked me thru the repair( Also send diagrams) It uses a filter you can only buy from the manufacturer. The filters were expensive and more shipping charges. The 3rd year, one of the inner seams split and the water went between the inner and outer wall so the tub would not inflate and needed to be replaced. Their customer service staff, however is EXCELLENT! They were always friendly and helpful. Were great about sending and emailing helpful information. In the event of a power failure or turning it off to change filters or emptying to clean annually, the restart and bleeding was a problem. The tub felt great when everything was working, though. Recently replaced it with an Intex model. So far. so good. We'll see what happens over time.
