I bought this for my daughter who wanted to be Goddess of the Hunt. She had a bow from when she was Merida, so we used that.The dress is flimsy, but well made. You will need to wear white underwear or any pattern will show up. The material drapes nicely and is stretchy. My daughter is 53 inches tall and wears a 10-12 depending on the manufacturer. We bought the Medium, and it fit nicely. It left about 2 inches from the ground, so there is no chance of tripping. The gold hairband is well made and never stretched out. It stayed on her head without moving a inch. The pieces of cloth pictured in the photograph are part of the dress and are attached, so you won't lose them. They look fine just hanging on the sides if you don't want to wrap them around your arms, plus they won't stay there anyway. Finally, I was worried about the gold rings at the shoulders of the dress, but they were comfortable for my daughter, who is very fussy about comfort. This whole outfit will be worn again at Halloween, and she just wore it to our school's Costume Ball where there was much dancing and running! The outfit is worth the money, and then some!

My daughter just turned 9 and wanted to be Athena for halloween. She originally wanted the cream/blue costume but we couldn't find it in her size, so she chose this one thinking she would have to settle. When this came in the mail she immediately opened it to find the most beautiful costume. Very authentic. We really didn't expect such good quality and attention to detail. What looks to be a scarf around the shoulders is actually attached to the dress. The loops on the shoulder, gold headband and trim are well made and intricate. The material is unexpectedly thick and more cream colored than white. My daughter is 60lbs, 4'8 and the medium fit perfectly. The costume hits about 4 inches above her ankle, so no tripping over it. It's so beautiful, she's totally forgotten about the blue one she originally wanted. Thank you Fun World.

The quality of this costume is good. The material is not cheap and the pink hues are lovely. The gold braiding is kind of cheap but for a Halloween costume I'm not complaining. The golden head band is nice and shiny and comfortable for my kid to wear. My daughter is 10 years old and is average sized for her age. This costume fits perfectly with a little room to spare. She absolutely loves it and looks so cute in it. The only complaint I have about this costume is the powerful plastic odor emanating from it. I have it hanging in the garage to air out and has been out there for about two weeks and the smell has faded a little bit. I don't want to wash it for fear I will ruin it but am concerned about the strong plastic smell. If it doesn't fade away by Halloween I will have to spray it with Fabreeze or something because I don't want my daughter getting sick from the smell. It won't be in direct contact with her skin because she will be wearing a long-sleeved tan colored leotard and tights underneath it.

Bought this for my daughter who needs to dress up as the Greek Goddess Athena for an event at her school. The costume is well made and the fabric is smooth. The Pink hue is beautiful. I do agree with the other reviewers that the golden lace could have been better quality. It comes with a golden color headband which is very pretty. My daughter is 54” tall, and I bought the costume in L size. Fits her perfectly! She loves it so much that she has already made up her mind to wear it again for Halloween!

Such a cute costume! My daughter is 11 and I guess this costume is pretty popular this year as she knows of two others friends who happened to buy the same one! It fits just right, a little loose on the top, but she is thin, so I expected that. It does cover enough so we won't have to wear anything underneath. The costume is well made and heavy unlike some of the others we've bought in the past. Also bought gold sandals to go with . . . . looks beautiful! Very pleased!

I bought this costume for my youngest daughter for Halloween. It is a nicely made costume, however, I only gave it three stars because it was too long and the sizing seemed to run small. I bought it a size larger than my daughter actually wears to be sure it would fit with clothing under it (Halloween is always cold where I live and kids usually wear leggings and t-shirts under their costumes). Once she had her underclothes on, the costume was quite tight. The material had give in it (which is what saved the night), however, it was really only good for that one night.

This costume is very pretty and soft. Feels like regular clothing and it is so easy to put on and of. My 9 year old loves it and can't wait to wear it for Halloween. Another reviewer mentioned this costume is great for those girls who still want to feel like princesses but have outgrown the usual princess costumes and I agree. There pink accents and head piece will make lots of girly girls happy. Good purchase for the price.Sizing- my daughter wears a 10-12 in most clothes and the Medium was the perfect fit and length. This costume should also make it easy to wear long sleeves under it if needed.

The shawl was missing and you could tell this was an opened item.
