I have rheumatoid arthritis and noticed an older drift. I find when I keep my fingers in the proper anatomical position, that I have less pain. This really works out well. Purchasing a second pair so that I can keep a second pair clean, so I can wear to bed at night. I’ve tried some of the other braces, and they may be less bulky, but these are still small enough that I can use this with my roller mouse and do everything I need to do. The key to this brace is that the part that wraps around your hand is adjustable. I wish the pieces of Velcro on the fingers were not so long since they are sometimes hard to remove or reposition with my arthritis, but that is the only thing I would change however, I still highly recommend.

I ordered beige and received black. Cannot contact the seller through the information they provided. Otherwise it helps with my pain, the Velcro doesn’t last on the index finger so I bought a decorative safety pin to put it on there. It does get an odor so you have to hand wash them often. Wish they came in beige or brown.

I have arthritic joints and this contraption hurt my knuckles.

I drive for Lyft (like Uber, but not quite), to the tune of about 50 hours a week or so, plus any off-duty driving I might do. Anxious tendencies caused a repetitive motion injury affecting my ability to grasp objects or make a fist with my left hand (primary steering wheel hand). My doctor recommended a splint like this to force that hand into a more open and natural position without making a grip impossible. After a few days of driving (and, when possible, sleeping) with the splint on, my hand is still not well, but I have noticed that it is becoming less painful. However, I did notice that the finger strap fits rather strangely for the middle finger, and that my pinky finger often becomes numb. I'm sure that slight modification of the splint or the way I wear it would solve both.

Easy to put on. Comfortable

Was not comfortable to wear. The straps that go in between the fingers were too bulky and I could not see wearing this comfortably for more than a few minutes. The band across the knuckles was not wide or stiff enough to prevent those knuckles from bending, which is what my therapist recommended. I also could see the velcro quickly losing its effectiveness after a few times of use. I ended up returning it because it could not do what I needed it for and was not comfortable.

I got this brace to help with the ulnar deviation I am experiencing due to rheumatoid arthritis. I'm hoping it will help shift the joints back or at least keep them from deviating further. My physical therapist recommended I try one of these soft braces. It's padded just enough to give comfortable support without getting in the way of hand mobility. Easy to adjust and I like that it's black so I can wear it without it looking grungy after a couple days. My therapist recommended I get one to keep on hand for my other hand too. If you need a brace I would definitely give this one a try. It's a decent price and doesn't look as bad as some of the others out there.
