UZZI Men's Basic Running Shorts Swimwear Trunks

These shorts fit great and are almost exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately none of the photos show a side view revealing the fact that there is absolutely NO SIDE SEAM. These are running shorts to the extreme. The front and back panels overlap at the side but are not connected to each other, instead being stitched only to the waist band at the top. This results in an EXCESSIVE, bordering indecent, amount of exposure with any form of stretching, bending, or squatting. Aside from that little unknown, the only downside to these shorts is the lack of material in the rear for anyone with a round or muscular bum. My derriere falls into both of these categories and I end up wearing these shorts with a back "hem" almost a full inch higher than the front.

According to my husband, these shorts are comfortable, lightweight and have a nice drawstring, however, when swimming in them he said they ride up on the sides (and he can feel that). When he hand washed them, the color ran profusely yet they still retained their bright neon color. When first he put them on, he smelled a faint chemical odor (his words), but I assured him it was just a "new" smell.... not a strong or a bad one. Later, he said the odor had diminished and was hardly detectable. So, his input is not really too negative but I am thankful he did not wash them with any other laundry or all his whites would be pink today. He said these swim shorts still deserve a 4-star rating.
