Pros: Very lightweight and highly maneuverable with noticeable suction on low profile carpets. Don't expect Hoover level of suction, that's not what it's for. it has a quiet motor sound, and can transition to hardwood floors without reconfiguration, unless your switching to the wand for baseboards and corners. The wand accessory clips on to the handle so they stay together, instead of being lost or misplaced. There isn't a bag to replace, just the filter after many uses, and almost the entire unit can be washed in the sink. Except the motor assembly of course, but that part is easily wiped off. with a dry rag. If you find hair trying to pass out the back exhaust vents a dry unused paint brush takes care of that usually.Cons: Doesn't handle lint and hair very well on carpets because it does not have a rolling beater brush in the head attachment, even a push powered brush would have been acceptable. Also it gets very dusty and dirty and the dust tends to stick to the outside of the unit. You'll need to wipe it off after each use before storing it. Other than those drawbacks I really like it and hope it last for a good while. I used it immediately upon receiving it so this review comes from first hand experience with this model, it's also why some parts look grey in the pictures.Despite not liking lint and strings, or anything that clings to carpet, the Dirt Devil 3-1 Stik does an excellent job at everything else. It got the dust, dirt, and sand that tends to embed in my entrance way carpet up with no problem. This little unit does much better than just sweeping it with the broom and that's the reason I bought it. Plus I can use it to remove cobwebs and hanging dust on the ceiling with the extra wand attachment.Anyway that's the end of the review so stop reading and go clean up your mess!

I was adding things to my wedding registry and wanted an expensive Dyson cordless vacuum for the movability. I felt guilty asking for such an expensive item, and I didn’t love the price tag. I read the reviews for this and they seemed great, and the price was low. I really wanted a cordless vac but after using this that was a non issue. This vacuum is soooo light, easy to move around and has a really long cord. The suction is amazing, I love that it doesn’t have or need a bag to be dumped. You can see the trash enter the vac and if you suck up something by mistake you can see it and retrieve it fast. You can take off the roller portion and it’s interchangeable as a hand held vac and has a long nose attachment that’s great for corners and couch crevices. I bought this vac 2 years ago and raved about it and needed to add this review. Amazing vac, you won’t regret the purchase.

This worked just fine, as expected for the price and size. I bought it for my daughter's dorm room. I tested it in my no-shoes-indoors, three person, one-cat home on my tile floors which run through my kitchen, dining room, half bathroom, hallway, and foyer for about 10 minutes. It worked great and I only passed over the areas once. It picked up small pet kibble, grass blades, a bit of coffee grounds and shredded cheese, toast crumbs, some medium fine hair, a little leaf, and some dirt. I also tried it on a throw rug and it picked up some mystery food crumbs just fine! I clean the floors about twice/three times a week so I didn't test this on a super dirty floor.The only issue I had was that I had to kick the "floor nozzle" down about three times to get it to touch the floor.The dirt cup is small, as expected, but was easy to disconnect, dump, and reconnect. I would rinse it occasionally but doubt my daughter will.All in all a nice light vacuum that would be great for a small apartment or dorm room with hard flooring.

I have had this stick vacuum for about two months now, so here is my review.I love this little stick vacuum so much that I clean my house twice as often as I used to. It is so-ooo much easier to maneuver than the big bulky expensive one. It is lightweight and goes under beds, stoves, refrigerators, end tables, and all such things.The cord is two feet shorter than my big vacuum and it messed up my normal routine, but I got used to plugging it in at different locations. No long hoses and vacuum to move around together and bump into walls.It picks up so much stuff that I am amazed everytime I dump it out. It really does pick up a lot of stuff, including hair.Something I learned: After you dump the dirt cup and shake the filter out, ... place the filter back into the dirt cup FIRMLY so that you do not let dust bypass the filter.I love the suction, the maneuverability, lightweight, and suction of this little stick vacuum so much that I just ordered another one for the upstairs. Yes, I recommend this vacuum and I would buy it again. In fact, I just did. jon

I have hard floors and 2 medium area rugs. It does better than I expected on the rugs. Does decently on the hardwood floors. I like to use it as a touch up or if I don’t feel like sweeping. I wish I looked into a cordless vacuum though. I do like how it can be transformed into a hand vac. And it is convenient that the attachments from my old bissell hand vac fit this vacuum as well. All in all this a good vacuum for this price. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a fully carpeted house / apartment.

I LOVE this mini stick vacuum cleaner. I have hardwood floors that i use it on, but I also have an exercise room with gym mats on the floor. I cannot use a regular vacuum cleaner on the mats because the rollers will tear up the foam mats. This stick vacuum cleaner has no rollers, so vacuuming the mats is so easy! Also picks up dog hairs very well. The filter is also very easy to clean, and it can also be rinsed off with water if needed. The vacuum cleaner is super light weight. It doesn't get any better than that ;)
