The media could not be loaded. This is my first spyderco knife and its really blown me away. I know this is the entry level of spyderco knife but its still great for what it is. The action is smooth and had a satisfying click/snap when the blade locks into place. Now im not that knowledgeable about steel types but from what ive read, s35vn is a good upgrade from the older 8cr13mov blade steel. It also came with a razor sharp factory edge. Its not heavy by any means but it does have a nice weight to it. I went for the blue color variant to match my other edc gear and im really satisfied with it. Unfortunately i have dropped it already but surprisingly the scratches it got were very faint. I think thats a good testament to the durability & quality of this knife. For what its worth i think this a great value knife that im sure will last a long time with proper care & maintenance.

Got my first pocket knife out of a bubble gum machine when I was 6 years old, and have been carrying one ever since, I'm 74. Cain't leave home without it. :>)I have had a Spyderco pocket knife for at least 25 years and it is still a good knife. They hold an edge and the grip fits nice in your hand. The light weight fiberglass handle has rounded edges that does not where out you pants pocket and the trade mark hole makes it easy for one hand operation. Well worth the money!!!

Excellent Blade light weight firm action feels good in the hand . But be very careful blade is extremely sharp the serrations are very fine . Great presentation and packaging.

This is my first Spyderco knife, I have a lot of other makers knives but Spyderco is usually to expensive and I just can't justify their prices to the product qualitys and so I have hundred dollar knifes but they have better steel or even titanium. Anyhow I went with the spydeedge model for 50 bucks and it is worth every penny, I also bought a add-on to make it into a wave type model for like ten bucks. Definitely recommend to others and would buy again need be.

4 stars. Would have been nicer if it came with a holster. Overall, pretty damn sharp.
