Great value
Cable is a little thinner than expected but still durable. Lock was also a little sticky but it's loosening up with time. Still gave 5 stars because I've had similar products for 5x the price.Ultimately wanted it as a deterrent and it achieves that - remember if someone really wants your device a Kensington lock isn't going to stop them, but for random snatch and grab stuff this will make them look for easier targets.

How to set the combination
I saw several 1-star reviews with complaints about either changing the combination of about no instructions to change the combination.Here are instructions.1. Choose a new combination. Write it down if you won't absolutely, positively remember it.2. Set the combination to the current combination. "0000" is the default.3. Push and hold the button below the combination.4. Reset the combination.5. Release the button.

Broke on first day of use
This is not tamper resistant, something which should be required for a computer lock. 7 year old broke the lock mechanism immediately.

Awesome Lock Way Below Average Price
The lock is a little wobbly, but sturdy and strong. Easy to change combo and easy to open. The cable is a little short but long enough to loop around a table leg or something else nearby. The price seemed a little too good to be true but I have been proven wrong.

Would be nice to have more contrast to read numbers more easily.
