Replaced the batteries in both of my Cooper fobs which involves splitting the cases open. The original plastic rings were worn and one broke taking it off. Replaced the batteries and put the fobs back together and clipped these rings on, sliver on one blue on the other. They went on with no issues and hold the case together TIGHT. Very pleased with the fit and finish.

I just got this today and popped it on. The ring is relatively thick and heavy and fits the fob perfectly. I had no trouble with installation, so to speak. I bought my Clubman pre-owned, and my fob had already lost its ring, so while I don’t have anything to compare it to, it actually makes the rest of the fob look cheap! It also adds a nice heft. If I dropped the fob with this installed, I would worry I’d ding the ring... but time will tell, and hopefully I don’t drop it. The first time I tried to put the key in the ignition, it didn’t seem to fit, but I tried again and it went in fine. I tried a few more times and it inserted with no problem. I did take away one star because the gap that allows the ring to flex enough to fit the fob ends up being a bit wider than expected once the ring in place. But otherwise, I got exactly what I thought I would, perhaps something even a little nicer.

I loved the look but sadly it popped off and got lost in the abyss 2 months into getting it:(

After buying my Mini it only came with one key that had the plastic ring on it that broke off, this fit perfectly on my key and looks amazing you can buy all different colors and switch them out or use different colors for different drivers keys and would be good if you own more than one Mini to define which key goes to whichever car it belongs too! Well priced and well built!
