I Love these curtains!!! I bought 3 pairs in the 'pewter', which is actually a lovely silvery grey color with a shimmer. They are definitely lined, and block out the light. The material is very soft yet great quality, and they are quite heavy too. Its a shame that I had to re-order one set of curtains as they sent one set in the wrong color. However, that was Amazon's fault and I could not find any fault with the curtains so I did not deduct a star for that. Great buy and great price - I would definitely recommend.

Great curtains. These curtains are for the living room and I'm trying to get a good look in this room where a low quality pair wouldn't suffice. I was a little apprehensive about buying curtains online as there's only so much you can tell from the photos and you can't get a good idea of the feel of them. However, knowing that it's easy to return them on Amazon, I took a chance on these and bought 2 pairs along with tie backs.The curtains are a nice heavy weight and have backing on them. This is great as it helps insulate the room. I live in an old, cold farmhouse, so retaining heat is a priority.The blackout feature of them isn't needed by me as it's the living room, but I can confirm that they do a really good job of this too. When I come down in the morning it's almost pitch black. So much so that I spilt my brew a couple of days ago and I tried to put in on the table in the dark and missed :-|The design and style is obviously subjective but I think they look and feel great and seem pretty high quality.

In fact, it cost me more to have the length professionally altered than it did to buy the curtains - because the curtains are so big, you need to be fairly competent to alter this yourself.The material is fairly thick and a neutral shade that is unlikely to clash with anything. An unexpected bonus is that the advertised 'blackout' also works well (often this is disappointing ineffective on premade curtains).On the downside, the material creases along folds once it's packaged, and the creases persisted even after the curtains had been hanging for a few days. I therefore had to press them with an iron through an old tea towel to remove the creases (the material doesn't like the direct heat of an iron), which was a massive job given that each curtain feels as though its about the size of a rugby pitch.Once hung, the curtains look good and haven't creased.Given the choice, I would certainly buy these again, but for the sake of your sanity, I would strongly recommend that you put some of the money you save on the purchase price towards having them professionally dry cleaned to remove the creases.The material is fairly thick and a neutral shade that is unlikely to clash with anything. Really a great value. We ordered the largest size for extremely oversized windows & they were PERFECT width & length. Agree with previous reviews they are not completely blackout but they do an excellent job. Lovely curtains & price is sooooooo reasonable even my designer friend said can't beat the price for what I got. Color as expected for Pewter but Beige set was more a light grey with beige tone.

Absolutely love these curtains, great quality, great price, quick delivery, read a lot of reviews beforehand and most people were complaining they were not blackout curtains, I have them at window with wooden blinds, they keep the sun out when it is at its strongest, so I would definitely recommend these curtains, they are lined with a nice soft cream cotton lining, I will be ordering again from this seller soon

I needed large curtains which were difficult to find anywhere ready made. Delivery was very quick, they arrived the day after I ordered them. The curtains were quite creased and have now been hanging a few days but the creases are still there. The curtains are much shinier and darker than they appear on the picture. The quality is ok but not outstanding. On the whole, happy with my purchase mainly because of the price as if I had to have the curtains made to measure to fit my large windows, it would have costed me 3 times more.

Was a bit dubious about these looking cheap and cheerful given the cost and lack of consumer photographs/description of material. To help I took a photo of the packaging, the material and a close up of the material with my (average size female) hand to give you an idea of the texture and colour. The curtains are light grey/silver in colour with a 'sheen' though not in a cheap looking way. They have a nice soft feel and rest nicely on the floor if you're after that look. Block out light well as far as I can tell but I ran out of curtain hooks so could only judge by the one I hung. Sadly didn't take a photo during today's beautiful sunshine and it's now getting dark, however took a photo anyway to give you an idea. Would buy these again and recommend. Can't comment on how the creases come out after hanging because have only had them a day.Hope this and the photos help your decision
