Azelaic acid calms rosacea and keeps redness away
This Azelaic acid is a redness-reducing game changer. It’s gentle, effective, and a must-have for rosacea. It’s the only thing that has worked.

Wow, it works!
I’m stunned. This product has changed my skin in just a few days. For context, I turned 40 last year, and since then, I’ve developed a lot of rough texture and redness all over my face, as well as little pimples in places I’ve never had them before. My dermatologist diagnosed me with rosacea (I didn’t even know rosacea could cause pimples). After reading up on it and seeing reviews for this product, I decided to give it a try. My skin is already brighter, more even, and so much smoother than it has been in years. I’m so grateful.

So far so good
This serum has an elegant texture, not so elegant odor. I have dry skin with some active acne. It helped with reducing redness and hydrating. It leaves a glowy appearance. Slightly sticky which resolves in a few minutes. It’s only been 2 weeks. Will have to use it longer to see more changes and if I will repurchase.

Really works!
I have been using this once at night and it is made such a difference in my skin within a week. Barely red when I wake up. I I'm going to start using it in the morning too after I wash my face in the morning. I wasn't expecting it to do anything because I tried another brand and it didn't really do much. I would definitely say talk to your dermatologist first specially if you have a bad case of rosacea.

Smells terrible, works though.
I’ve been using a prescription for azeliac acid and it has done wonders for my face but it is too costly to continue. I’m my search for an OTC alternative I found this. I’ve been using a week and some of my redness had returned as well and bumpiness. This also has the worst smell!! I’ll keep using until it’s out but unsure if I will repurchase.Update: tried another brand (in a green tube) and I hated it. I’ve gone back to naturum after a hiatus from Azeliac acid and it really does help my redness. My acne, some. It still smells like a dirty bathroom but it only lasts a minute or two. I will continue to purchase it as I know with constant use it keeps my skin pretty happy.

Didn't work for me
Update June 2025: I came across several sources online that state this specific Naturium product uses a derivative of azelaic acid called potassium azeloyl diglycinate. This form has not been studied for efficacy nearly as much as normal azelaic acid. If you are not noticing benefits, it may be because this product uses a derivative, and not plain azelaic acid. This feels incredibly misleading because I believed azelaic acid just didn't work for me, but I am now wondering if it's because they use a poorly-studied version. I am going to find a product with the typical form and see if it works.I bought this months ago and have been trying it on my skin until recently. For context, I developed some mild redness on my cheeks and nose early this year that I suspected was rosacea - my dermatologist confirmed this a fee weeks ago. I read that while 15% was the usual go-to strength, 10% may be enough. I bought this after trying to find something that had good reviews but was also a reasonable price.I have combination skin, use cold cream and a mild foaming cleanser daily. I use tretinoin most nights. I'm 30 years old, so I don't have much texture or lines, but I do have slightly large pores that I think are genetic. This product did not work for me unfortunately. I used it consistently and as directed with no improvement in my redness or my normal skin areas. The product itself is nice to use. It sinks into the skin, doesn't pill up, and has a barely noticeable scent.I think this could be worth a try for people with mild, non-rosacea redness or skin texture problems. My skin just needs something else. I don't really have room for an active that's not working for me in my routine, so I will not be repurchasing.

I'm on my second bottle, it's amazing
Consistency and sunscreen is key! Over the long run the effects are stunning,I was hesitant about trying this because it was hard to find a product that would have an overwhelmingly positive review. The biggest key with this was consistency. For the first couple of weeks I didn't notice an extreme difference, but then I started tracking some stubborn dark spots over the next month and wow. I am so impressed at how this product not only faded my stubborn dark spots but also I feel like I don't get new dark spots from acne as easily.I paired it the laneige cream skin toner at night and daily sunscreen in the morning (reapply throughout the day because sun exposure can worsen your dark spots) and it worked amazingly. This is the first time ever that I have seen my skin this clear (not I use light coverage skin tints with tiny corrections using putty concealer and I'm super happy with how healthy my skin looks)

Fixed my rosacea
I started using this for rosacea and it’s made a world of difference. My skin is softer, less red, and well moisturized. I love it!
