Hi, I'm a network engineer and have spent many hours sat in a server room or house crimping custom CAT5 and CAT6 cables by the drum load. Its my preference to ensure the length , build is exactly to spec and environment. I hate it when I find meters off excess cable per run. It might make little difference but it's just wasteful and i prefer a clean, precise run per cable. Recently, I've been tasked with adjusting an office and gaming room they wanted their office to go from 1gig network to have 10gig Switch and NAS server and 2.5gig for wifi and gaming. So, I made the decision to buy UGREENs CAT8 40Gbps ethernet vaired lengths 1, 2, 3 , 5 metre runs for the end devices such as PC, laptops, Office printers, scanners and Servers. Trust me when I say, the quality of these cables are amazing I'm very impressed, they look solid and are really well protected, easy to feed round corners and lock nicely in the ports. On running benchmarks on the cable with network cards, switch and servers capable of 10gig, This cable will handle the load no matter what. I read many comments from clearly none technical uses saying the cable doesn't make their network faster. I can assure you this cable is capable and if your unable to reach 2.50, 5, 10 gigs that will be a limitation of your hardware. If your switch is capable of 2.5 gig but your computer is a 1gig lan card. Then your computer will only be able to reach 1gig, in truth likely less than 900 due to throughput limitations to the driver. If your TV only has a 100meg lan card then it will only every be able to carry under 100megs. Still capable of streaming 4k movie off Netflix though. And if your PC has a 10 gig card, lan port. If your switch is 2.5gig.. then your PC will only be able to transfer at up to 2.50gig.. Once most understand this, and they price up the gear required to reach 10gig many decide 2.5gig is enough 😆 just one 10gig lan adapter costs £85 > £200. A switch your talking hundreds to thosands depending on number of ports and brand. I'll always prefer making custom cat cables when they are in the walls, ceilings, under ground etc But for Edge End devices you won't regret paying a little bit more for these, they will last a lifetime.

We have recently upgraded our Internet to Full Fibre. When Openreach came to fit the new fibre optic modem, they fitted it where the old phone port was, which was in the corner of the room, near to the front door of the property. I wanted to position my router more into the centre of the house, which is across the room from the modem. I purchsed this Ethernet cable to run from the modem, under the edge of the carpet around the outside edge of the room along the skirting, and up to where my router is. I am getting full speed, infact higher speeds than what I pay for at times. We pay for 900mb and we get that, and a little more. Very pleased with this ethernet cable, as it does exactly what I need. The build quality is very good. The cable is quite thick, but to me that makes it more durable. Would happily recommend these cables.

Really happy with this Ethernet cable. It works perfectly and I've had absolutely no issues with the connection or performance. Speeds are fast and stable, exactly what I wanted from a good-quality Ethernet cable. The braided design is also a really nice touch. It feels strong and well made rather than cheap or flimsy, and the green colour looks great too. Worth every penny My LG OLED TV screen kept going black and then back on again, really annoying 😡 I thought it was the Virgin Box but thought I’d try this Ethernet cable as it had a very fast transfer rate and worth a try. TBH I didn’t think it’d make any difference but I was wrong. I plugged it into the back of the Router and into my LAN/Ethernet socket on the side of the TV. It worked a treat, not sure why but the screen hasn’t blacked out since👍 BTW I had what I thought was a perfectly good quality Ethernet cable already but obviously not. This new one did the trick. I bought a top quality HDMI cable to go from the Virgin box to the TV but so far I haven’t needed it as everything is working perfectly 🎈🎈🎈 So I’m a happy boy right now.

La qualità costruttiva è eccellente: il rivestimento in nylon intrecciato lo rende robusto, flessibile e resistente all’usura, ideale anche per utilizzi più intensi o in ambienti dove i cavi vengono spesso spostati. Dal punto di vista delle prestazioni, si nota subito la differenza. La velocità di trasmissione è elevatissima e la connessione è stabile, senza cali o interferenze, perfetta per gaming online, streaming in alta definizione e trasferimenti di file pesanti. Supporta senza problemi le alte velocità dichiarate e sfrutta al massimo la mia connessione. Ottima anche la compatibilità: funziona perfettamente con router, PC, console e altri dispositivi dotati di porta RJ45.
