Just what I needed
I have a loop loc cover with pieces of bluestone around my pool. I have been using pieces of 12 - 18" rebar to hold the cover in place. Always a guessing game to figure out where to put the rebar. I bought these, and installed them in a 3/4 EMT pipe which I slipped over the rebar which I pounded below the bluestone surface. 10" emt pipe slides over the rebar, and the emt holds the brass fittings. Perfect.

So far so good
I had 9 grommets that ceased and would not unscrew during pool closing. After removing the bad ones with a tool I purchased separately these set right in place. Guess I won’t know for sure how long they last, but they appear to be solid.
