Triton T12TP Twin Pack with T12DD Drill and T12ID Impact Driver

I bought these on sale for a great deal. I am renovating my grandparents house and although I own a large assortment of DeWalt cordless tools I like having a small drill to keep inside for quick repairs & projects. To say these tools exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I'd never heard of Triton before seeing these & I don't know if they will last as long as the old DeWalt drill they replaced but they are quite strong and tiny in comparison. I've sunk 2 1/2 deck screws using the impact driver, attaching new 3/4 plywood subfloors for hours & it performs right on par with the larger tools (battery life excluded). The drill runs fast, has good torque and has a quick release chuck feature I've never seen before which is great for switching between drilling & driving (although, not really needed if you buy the drill/driver set). The only downside is the 1.5 amp hour battery packs. They just don't last all that long when driving long screws or drilling large holes. It hasn't really been a major issue though. Only once did I need to grab my DeWalt tool when screwing down the subfloor on my porch while waiting on a battery to finish charging. You can buy a 3 amp hour battery pack if you need longer runtime but it's much larger & for me it defeats the purpose of buying a compact drill/driver set.
