This is easy to set up and use. It is a godsend for the Mac mini as it makes it easy and affordable to upgrade SSD memory (Mac SSD costs are crazy). A silver option is desirable.

It does everything it says on the box. easy to set up, works well, great form factor and perfect for the Mac mini.

Given the useless selection of ports on the current generation Mac Mini, one of these is pretty much vital. I have a 2TB 2.5" hard drive in it for Time Machine backups, and the front mounted USB-A slots and card reader do exactly what they are supposed to. The build quality is fine, but the colour is not quite an exact match for space grey, and the corner radii don't quite exactly match those on the Mini; they're pretty close, though.It would have been useful to also include a USB-C connector on the front, as you still end up fumbling behind the Mac if you need to plug in a USB-C lead, but this does pretty much everything else you need.

Excellent data transfer speeds really good build quality. Everything I’ve connected so far works perfectly i.e. external hard drives SD cards and memory sticks. The internal transfer speed to the SSD is amazing really pleased with this product

Arrived on time, looks nice. Unpacked it and set it up....no problems. Haven't tried installing a drive in it yet. Connected a Sandisk 1 Tb portable SSD to it. Worked fine - disk showed on desktop within a few seconds.Computer went to sleep.....when I woke it up again there was a message on the screen - disk not ejected properly.Wasn't particularly worried....unplugged it and plugged it back a few seconds later....nothing. I've tried powering the dock down and waiting a few minutes before reconnecting - no change still will not see SSD. Tred connecting the SSD directly to Mac mini....no problem works fine, computer just cannot see it via dock. Tied connecting a separate flash drive to dock....works fine.So....less than 2 hours and I cannot access contents of SSD without connecting it directly to Mac mini, which is a pain as I bought the dock to avoid having to do this.Things may improve....will post an update if they do, but first impressions not too good!Edit....photos show two drives connected directly to mac mini. Works fine.Same two drives connected via dock.....a message came up saying one drive had been ejected incorrectly. The other one is invisible, never been able to see it. Small flash drive works fine......EDIT....On investigation....the USB 2 ports and card reader worked fine, problem was with USB 3. Have now returned it successfully. Thinking of getting another....so many good reviews on here that they can't all be like mine. It does look nice card reader worked well.

The dock sits below the Mac Mini 1, lately the Bluetooth mouse constantly disconnects and re-connects. Yesterday while at sleep it caused an error to happen on PDFPen Pro editor as well.Long before the Bluetooth mouse problem it was the SSD and USB that would disconnect,when the sleep function activated, I have since disabled all sleep except screen sleep.I have moved this dock away from the Mac mini M1, to see if the problem persists.
