My daughter love he books great stories

My son’s been struggling with reading and these books get him excited to read. They are a good books to introduce chapters to your kids. They are short stories that are fun to read.

He loves them! Great for a budding reader who loves adventure. The books also have some cool historical things in them that inspire curiosity in our 6 year old. He also enjoys reading them on his own.

First year homeschooling and bought this box set! Very easy to moderate reading and entertaining from ages 6-10. Each book has 10 short chapters. My son has really enjoyed reading this series

My son loves these books.

I remember reading this series when I was a kid and thought it would be fun to read to my boys (6 and 4). Now that my oldest is in kindergarten, we've been doing reading logs and this seemed like the easiest and most fun way to get my kids to love reading. I've never read any chapter books to them yet so this was a first for us. And I was SHOCKED at how well they sat and listened and wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next. It also helps it's all the things they love like dinosaurs, knights and pirates. It's been fun for me too to read to them and connect with them. I didn't enjoy reading as a kid but I hope to teach my kids to love reading.

This book series is very simply written and with some grammatical errors "till" instead on until, beginning sentences with "And". However, it has been fun to read 5 of these books with my 6-7 year old son over the past month. It takes about an hour to read the whole story. He looks forward to the next story, as the story in the books are interweaved and sequentially dependent. He even wanted to peek at the end of the book to see what happened before we started reading! It is that kind of enthusiasm that encourages more reading. A few of the stories were borderline scary because the kids are held captive by a pirate, and in danger of being hurt by a sabertooth tiger etc, but these can be put into perspective if the child is ready to deal with it.

Good present for my grandson, he enjoyed very much, and I was very happy, too.

The stories are patronisingly simplistic and badly written, my 5 year old paid attention while I read to him but won't be asking me to repeat the stories which for me is always a nd sign.

The paper quality is so bad, similar to recycled toilet paper, drawings are black and white, no colours whatsoever except on the cover, it was for a gift but the price is printed on the box, I don't recommend, better by each book separately

My kids are 6 and 4 and love listening to me read these books to them out loud. It's also fun because I read them myself when I was young.
