L'Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Deep Nourishing Hair Treatment, 3.4 Ounce

I am a hair care crazy person! Lol so I love having the best of the best for ingredients in my hair care products. I don't care if it has a high end price tag or a drug store price tag, as long as the ingredients are what they should be I am going to buy it. This oil is absolutely amazing!!!! It's a very soft oil (if that makes any sense lol) it's lightweight but VERY moisturizing. It does not leave a gross sticky layer over the hair or your hands after applying this oil like most other oils do and it's not super thick and greasy like others either! It's absolutely one of the best hair oils I've EVER USED! It has amazing ingredients in it, it has what it claims in it and it does what it claims to do as well, which is ALWAYS awesome. So many drug store items claim to have certain ingredients for certain reasons and then you look at the ingredients and it's the very last ingredient, or some times the ingredient won't even be in there at all and most people don't notice because they think "oh wow the label says it has ..... In it and that it's going to......... My hair better than anything else on the market, so it must be amazing!" So many brands use labeling to suck people in and they aren't always so honest on their labels so when I found this product I was very impressed with the ingredients and everything about this product so I knew I needed it and I'm so glad I got it! I use it every single time I wash my hair now and I even use it on day 2 on my ends! This oil doesn't leave my hair greasy at ALLL!!!!! I highly recommend! It leaves my hair soft, shiny, frizz free all day, moisturized and hydrated (they are different) and I really just love how it makes my hair feel! Definitely give it a try y'all! Highly highly recommend!

...you may want to look to see if you can find something equally effective without all the scent.I ordered some of the L'Oreal products to help my dry hair. This oil arrived today. My hair has been in a single plait since I washed it on Wednesday afternoon. The directions read that it cn be used on dry or wet hair. I took the plait loose, squirted 2 pumps in the palm of my hand. Before the oil had a chance to land in my palm, this thick, overly sweet cloying scent hit my nostrils and has not left yet. I do not like scented products, and detest heavily scented ones. There is also no getting away from it...everywhere I go, my hair is hopefully sure to follow...Scent aside, the oil felt very light and even now, an hour later my hair is not burdened down by it. It feels very soft...Normally, my hair is halfway decent after washing and leaving it to dry in a plait. Unfortunately the next morning, it is all rough and dry again. So, I will post a follow-up in the morning to see how it is holding up.I will have to decide if I can put up with the irritating sickly, sweet cloying scent. I had a headache before using the oil and smelling it has not helped one bit.Update: upping the rating from 2 to 4 stars. Woke up this morning. Hair was still soft, did not look greasy or stringy and was very easy to brush inspite of sleeping on it. I will keep using this oil and can recommend it.Just as a frame of reference: I am almost 60, my hair is of mixed texture, has thinned to about 1/3 of what it used to be, reaches to the bottom of my shoulder blades, has not been treated with any color or perm. I have a few psoriasis lesions on my scalp, though there a considerably less than there used to be.

I have lightened my hair for over 20yrs and it had become so frizzy and thin and brittle. I had tried anything and everything I could find. No matter the cost.I can tell you that this stuff works!! It’s absolutely astounding to me! The first time I used it, I couldn’t tell a big difference. The second third and more omg!! My hair is so soft now and it shines!! IT SHINES! I have never ever had my blonde hair shine.If you’re doubting or wondering about whether or not to try it, you don’t have anything to lose but about $10. It’s an absolutely amazing product.

My daughter got me using a finishing oil a few years ago. This product is best by far but haven’t found it in the stores for a couple of years. Was thrilled to see it available here. I use it for the shine it gives, not frizz. Three small pumps into my hand and rub through my hair while hair damp, then use hairdryer. I often get compliments on how my hair shines with the light on it. Definitely recommend.

The dispenser won't dispense anything anymore, so now I need to twist open to use it. Very frustrating
