I have a Mitsubishi Mirage small car and needed a larger-size mirror to help me feel safer when driving, especially for the blind-spots when driving on the highways in the crazy Arizona traffic. My stock mirror size is approximately 2.5in x 9.5in and I bought the CONVEX mirror size to be just a bit larger (under 12 inches). The look of the slightly larger mirror from the outside doesn't come across as "cheesy" or gimmicky. After installing, the overall size measures 3in x 12in. Things to consider are your sun-visors (when folded down) which could partially block the rearview mirror on each side (driver-passenger). This mirror comes in varying width-sizes that should work great on larger sedans, SUV's, and trucks; not just compact cars. Installation took less than a minute. Sturdy fit although I noticed very minor vibration (the mirror itself, not the actual holder) when driving on highway, but frankly this is not an issue for me and attribute it to road surface. I already used at night and the anti-glare worked nicely. The convex-effect makes the back of my car seem longer and might take some getting used-to [if you are not accustomed to convex mirrors.] Other considerations when purchasing could be any additional controls/buttons/compass/lights on your existing rearview mirror. My car doesn't have any of those extra's so it wasn't a concern. So easy to now see traffic in the blind spots, and the rearview also helps you see any passengers in the back of your car without the need to lean forward/backward or side-to-side. Great value for the price and will purchase the "flat" version for our other car to try that style.

Exactly what I was looking for in a large curved rear view mirror.I have a 12 inch version installed on my little coupe. Installed this 15.8 version on my truck. It's massive. The curved mirror works exactly as I had hoped. It is bright and gives me the view I need. My truck has tow mirrors, so blind spots are already eliminated, but when in heavy traffic, especially on surface streets, it's nice to have the last blind spot check where I like it - in the top rear view mirror.

It is in the middle of the night, so I will not go out to my car.I think it works better than described. My caregiver and I do not have any bad comments t make about this item.... EXEPCT to stop reading a bunch of reviews and just do a buy now and not wait for payday !!You need to look at it for a while and get used to looking a the mirror and seeing your back window as a whole window and not need to move it.2. you see the passenger side blind spot, I do not understand the way that works!!!!But my caregiver and I both love it and want to be sure to give our shout out to everyone to consider this a a need item for safety and not just for fun!!!The size is perfect, and it is so very EASY to put on you mirror and it is a no brainer !!

My brand new 2024 Tesla Model 3 (highland refresh) has horrible visibility out the back. The mirror is too small and narrow. I was looking for something to widen the field of view without having to install anything too big or bulky. There are TONS of options out there if you want a huge 12"+ mirror but very little options for smaller ones. The Tesla mirror is 7" on the bottom and 8" on the top. When I found this 9.4" mirror I figured it would have to do as I couldn't' find anything smaller. It still feels too big. I couldn't get it to attach very securely and it blocked the interior camera which means Full Self Driving will not work (although I probably won't use that after the trial is over). The mirror is a little dim even for the clear tint but way better than the "blue" models I've tested from other manufactures. The viewing angle is great, much improved. I just wish this mirror was smaller so I could get it to fit in my car better. Sadly I will be returning this as it's just not usable. If they came out with a new model that was 8" - 8.5" wide and half the height ,it would probably be perfect and I would buy it right away.
