Looks good
Overpackaged, but works well for something which is known in the trade as a stick.

If you have a Rode Go system, just get one of these. You'll almost certainly use it
When these first appeared, I was a bit sceptical of the value of it. But having used the Wireless Go II a few times, I discovered the value. Having a mic that can be passed about is really useful. It also avoids the mic becoming lost or being forgotten. installation is really really easy. Just slide the clip into the holder. It is a solid yet easy fit. Then either use the wind muff that came with the wireless mic, or pop on the "toilet brush" (as my wife called it). But you'd probably have to remove the muff first, and I'm sure the muff will be more effective in windy conditions, than the foam toilet brush Although it appears to be plastic it's high grade and has a cold feel as if it's a metal alloy. It's light weight and almost perfectly shaped for an easy grip, yet unlikely to slip, thanks to a slightly rough surface. Unlike a standard microphone it has a really long handle which is handy to share it in interview settings. So what's not to like? Well when these first came out, the price. I bought it used and noticed the new price now significantly reduce to a fair level. The other thing I don't like is that there's no way of switching on and off without partly removing the mic from the holder. The power button is concealed and inaccessible when fitted. This does mean that there's no chance of anyone accidentally switching this off of course. And given the great battery life, perhaps that's a blessing. Furthermore if the foam is fitted, the power and connectivity lights are hidden. So not only can you not quickly switch on and off, there's a good chance you'd forget to switch it off after using it, especially if you don't need to remove the mic. This may not be an issue as the battery lasts hours. But you'd probably only discover when you go to use it again to find it's empty. I was so impressed with what I received I immediately bought a second one. I now have the option of two hand-held radio mics, which avoids having to buy an entirely new system. The clip-on mic is something that needs fitting and very inconvenient if you're doing interviews. With one of these, you can simply share the mic like a sports interview, or wear a clipped one and use this for your subject. If you have the Rode wireless Go system, you need this

Useful adapter
Bought for work in a sports TV production company. We've used the Rode wireless mics for ages, this is a great adapter when we're not able to clip the mics directly to subjects. Probably a bit expensive for what it is, but it's well made, looks sleek and does the job. Hard to fault!

Happy with them but check alternatives
The price has dropped on these quite a bit since they were introduced. I guess Rode are trying to align themselves with the cheaper clones. Anyways I decided to stick with the OG Rodes as I already had one from before and wanted 3 new ones to match. If I was starting from scratch I would possibly look at the others as you get some extras shiz trhown in.. like s sleeve thingy to put your channel name on and usually an extra pop sheild... then again I kinda having the OG brands and I dont minde the Rode logo on the pop sheild I now have 4 of these used with 2 Rode GO II kits them. I use them for sofa interviews with bands, panel discussions, reportage etc.. They look good and are nice and grippy.. Just to note the tiny RODE Wireless Micro alsos fit in to them but not perfectly. You can slide the magnet into the slot but its a very a tight fit and I'm woriied it would get stuck< the other option is remove the magnet and slide in the clip on the back if the mic, but that on the other hand is too loose so maybe a bit of tape would make it more secure.. Anyway it does work with the Micros...kinda ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Finally Id recommend looking at the Tonor one and maybe ordering one of each to comparer and send back the one youd dont like..

Nice addition for Wireless Go
Purchased 2 of these for my Rode Wireless Go 2. They are a nice additional and allow the Gos to look a lot more professional on camera for interviews and for people who prefer to hold something..... Not very cheap, for what is just a piece of plastic, so would have thought there would be an option of buying 2 at a discount. Only complaint (apart from price) is the Microphone Windscreen (the fluffy bit with Rode on it) - is not very tight, so in windy conditions, i have had 1 blown off the mic.

Great price.
This is such a great idea and I bought this after seeing it was a thing and haven't got round to using it but I know it will work well after some quick tests, there's not much to go wrong. I also think that the sponge will stop people talking too loudly into the mic. I've given mics to people without this adapter and had trouble with people speaking too loudly and too close to the mic, this will put some distance between them allowing the signal to be a little less hot.

Value for money at the right price
When these are on offer at £20 or £22 (whatever it goes down to), they are worth buying and I now have two of them. At the time of writing, Amazon's price is £30.40 down from an RRP of £39.99. They are available pretty consistently online at £22 but the benefit of Amazon is Prime next day delivery (whereas you'll probably pay a delivery fee elsewhere). Why buy one? It is essential to at least look professional when presenting or interviewing - please do NOT hold your Rode Wireless Go transmitter by the fingertips and attempt to get it close enough to somebody. The foam windscreen does a very good job of cutting wind noise and it is properly shaped to go over the microphone transmitter. The mount is a proper cold-shoe mount, so you could theoretically use the handheld grip to mount anything that use the same mounting. Surprisingly light but this means that it stays balanced because - guess what - the microphone transmitters are also very lightweight.
