Perfect for a 5 shot revolver
I purchased these for my S&W 5-shot, and they work perfectly. I’ve used speedloaders for over 40 years, and while these are still new with limited use so far, they seem solid. The rounds lock in securely and release cleanly. Based on my past experience, I expect they’ll perform well over time.

Good quality but a little pricey
Work well for speedy reload. A little pricey. But worth it.

They seem to be a bit different than the old ones but they work
They work pretty well. Make sure you push the cartridges down before you try to turn the knob or the knob won't turn to lock the cases in place.

Dollar Store Quality, ONE loader, not TWO
At the time of this review, there aren't any various "types" to choose from, as in quantity. What's listed as "2-Pack" in the title is a lie. What most, if not all, customers get is a single flimsy speed loader and it's the cheapest quality thing I've bought all year which is saying something given all the material consumed in the past 11 months. Annnyway, misleading listing aside, the price hiked up as well. My transaction was a bit over $19 for this alone. I can get these on eBay for $14 any day of the week. The price jumped to $24+ on Amazon the day of arrival then down to 23 shortly before I submitted this review. For that price people can assume they really are getting two of these cheap plastic things with aluminum nubs in the center. These are my first loaders as I've been an auto-loader fella all my life and really don't like revolvers. They're for old farts who have a hard time adapting to change in the world. Anyway, after 31 years of semi-autos it just happened. I bought a Taurus 605 and a few supporting knickknacks. This purchase was one of regret. The seller ought to tweak a few things and set the price right. $15 each ought to do it. Loading the rounds in are a bit... weird. You just have to derp around with them, snap the knob to the left then hope those rounds don't go falling out on accident.

best for the money in my opinion (ruger lcr .38 +p)
after minor wear and tear on it through daily use over a month (carried in pockets with rounds as well as range use and practice with snap caps) the case itself is made of 3d printed plastic, but the internal hardware is metal. I used it for my Ruger lcr .38 with a ctc short laser grip. it doesn't fit all the way over the cylinder when its pressed up against it due to the grip. it doesn't necessarily feel cheap, but its made of plastic and I wouldn't trust keeping these in your back pocket if you sat down on them. its a pretty quick speed loader once you practice with it. I was able to get to about 3 seconds as compared to about 7 or so by handloading. great for range use, and for daily carry if kept in a front pocket or a pouch. I'd recommend holding the cylinder with your right hand through the frame of the revolver while you twist the knob with your left hand. dropping them to the floor doesn't seem to damage them, but it has left small scuffs. 4/5 because the rounds are slightly loose when in the assembly after I've carried them around for about a month. would still highly recommend for anyone with a 5 shot j-frame revolver. Just make sure it fits your model before buying.

Great speed loader.
Works great and easy to load. I highly recommend these speed loaders for anyone needing spare speed loaders. A twist of the knob locks the rounds in place, even in a belt pouch until they're needed. A twist of the knob drops the rounds into the cylinder.
