Initial impressions and first time use are good, and a solid product for its purpose.
After first use:My first impressions were not off, so I will not cover. I did finally use this while in the hotel room. The dry time is really long. Without actual timing, I would say it cuts the time in half...or maybe better. Also, the clothing would not mildew drying in a room as it uses warm air. I had two thin shirts, one inside the other out. And the one in definitely dried faster.Key thing, is you can't over load it. We are talking like 1 or 2 shirts and the hanging thing for socks/underwear. The thicker, the longer it will take of course.Recommend wringing out the water as much as possible, then hang for a bit to drip as much water out as possible, before putting it in the drier. Is it worth it? milage may vary. It takes time, and it works. Also, I'm not sure I would use the hotel hairdryer, as this has to run for a long time. The unit seems to be holding up. Not sure if I would leave it unattended. it is a heater blowing into fabric.First Impressions:I read a number of reviews....but I really needed something to wash cloths while under isolation in a hotel room on travel for work....or to dry cloths from rain/snow. I have not used this to dry cloths, but this is my first impressions from setup in my house.Assy is easy, parts seem durable. Heater is a bit hotter than I would like (800W). Feel safer if it was warmish air, but comes out as very warm air and not adjustable. Definetly do not leave this unattended. It does have a timer.Based on design, you should be able to use the hotel blow dryer and save bringing the heater unit. Will see soon. Plan to try both.Enclosure appears durable. The thing opens and collapses like your common car window shade by twisting and collapsing. The only thing to be aware of, this is a very strong spring/loop. Good because it need to hold the weight of damp clothing...but be careful when you open. I got away from me and hit my face pretty good.Since this is designed to pack, the rods stay in by gravity. I don't see this as an issue, just to pay attention too. I know some people complain about it....will see under actual use. If you can see, one might see something to add resistance to keep them in better, but allow breakdown.I'm looking forward to using it in a couple weeks. Not only for drying washed clothes, but drying wet cloths from the day at work, when i return to isolation in the evening.

Do not buyt it!!!
Not worth it at all! Is just a hairdryer connected to a plastic chamber that collapses very easily. You are better of leaving your stuff to airdry. Literally of all the things I have purchased in Amazon this is the worst. Also it can barely hold men size items. Like maybe it can hang children clothes but is way too small to hold adult pieces. It also makes too much noise which is not practical.

Only buy if you have an extra room to run it.
This is OKAY if you don't want to spend $500 on a dryer.Pros:Drys your clothesEasy to store & doesn't take up much space if you don't want to break it down.Comes with two nifty hangars to hang multiple items on each (my favorite feature)Timer for automatic shut offCons:This will heat up your room. Not ideal if you live in an efficiency. You'll want an extra room you won't be spending time in for a few hours.Takes a LONG time to dry thick articles of clothing. 8+ socks can take 3 hours. Dry as much as will fit to save time and electricity. The timer/off/on switch broke. I can still turn it on and off, but the timer portion is busted. It's loud in the same room but hardly noticeable in another.

Easy, gets the job done
I just recently moved into an apartment without washer and dryer hookup. So I purchased a portable washing machine and this Air-O-Dry. After I take my clothes out of my washing machine I put them on hangers and hang them up inside this dryer. I've put max 12 articles of clothing and they are dry after 90 to 110 mins. I would also recommend purchasing a dry rack just in case you have a lot more clothes to dry that can't all fit inside this dryer. Over all good product and I have not experienced any defects.

Works as expected.
The dryer works about as expected. It is easy to set up and take down to store away. It is pretty cheap, so you have to be careful with it if you want it to last. It's a large pop up clothes hamper with a heater attached to it. It'll certainly heat up a room and can make it feel a bit humid depending on how wet the clothes are. I like that it came with hangers to hang undergarments. It can take a while to dry just a few clothes, especially if they're dripping wet or heavy garments, but it gets the job done if you take the time out to wring or spin as much water as possible from them. The best way I have found to effectively dry shirts and pants is to actually drape them over the rods as opposed to trying to put them on hangers and hang them from the rods. I have found this dryer to be pretty useful, along with my mini washing machine.

Does not dry clothing
The dryer assembles easily and is great for small spaces. However it does not dry clothing. I put in two pairs of socks and two pairs of underwear, and after 1 HOUR of drying time they were still damp. If it was easy to return I would return it.

Must have for trips
I bought this dryer for a 7 days cruise. With a family of five and trying to pack light this got a good used during my trip. It works as intended. I added few plastic folding hangers and was able to dry out our swimming suits and my kids clothes in about 1 hour. I tried drying clothes by hanging them around the room and it wouldn’t dry completely even after 2 days. This was a life saver to keep the room neat and clothes clean and dried efficiently. The noise level is tolerable (sound like a hair drier in low) but if you are too sensitive, this might not be for you as you should not leave it on if you leave the room. Great product.

Not good on heavy articles
I washed 4 regular cotton sweaters and placed 3 inside this blue bin contraption and 1 I let hang nearby. The cotton sweaters inside were of similar weight and had hoodies. The one that was hanging outside dried QUICKER than the 3 inside the blue bin after a 90 minute timer. I live in Tijuana Mexico and our moisture level was at 33% that day. This product did not work as expected and it really only helps mild cotton blends and spandex dry. Cotton and heavy cotton blends are too much.
