Noticed a lot of reviewers said the slippers run big. If you ordered a size down did they stretch out?

I did not do that. I grabbed an old pair of nike's which were size 7.5. Then I ordered the 6.5 to 7.5 size. They fit perfectly, no stretching needed.

Hi. i wear a 7 1/2-8 shoe and have a very narrow foot. i usually wear some type of wool sock. what size would you recommend? i read they run large?

I wear the same size, but I wouldn't say I have a narrow foot. They do run a bit large once you get your foot in there, but as other viewers commented they're not really the type of slipper you can just step into, since you need to pull them on a bit. But with that in mind, once your foot is in, they don't really slip off, you just have spacious room inside. I also wear socks, so I preferred to go with the 8 to have room. But when I don't have socks on, it is a bit too loose for me and makes walking up and down stairs, etc. tricky. My overall review was I wished they came with 1/2 sizes, since I think a 7 /12 would have been the best fit for me. But they are very comfortable.
