I am pleased with this moisturizer. I have a really dry spot on my forehead, and after a couple days of using it on the spot, the spot is definitely better. Still dry, but not as bad; I am confident that with more consistent use of this moisturizer, the dry spot will be no more.The lotion itself smells nice and isn't too greasy. It feels a bit thick when you put it on, but it disappears/absorbs rather quickly. Ingredient list is longer than I'd prefer for something "organic," but unless you're making your own lotion at home, it's hard to keep it super pure.Cost is a bit expensive for such a small bottle. I think this is meant more as a spot treatment, or at least to be used as a thin layer with another moisturizer layer on top (the directions on the bottle do refer to using this as more of a foundational moisturizer layer). However, if this continues to help tackle my driest spots that do not respond to conventional face lotions (even the ones marked as "high moisture," etc), it's worth the price.

This product came up on my Vine feed at the perfect time, as I am almost done with the face serums that I have, and needed a replacement. I ordered based on the description, as I am 50 years old with great skin, and need the deep moisture that this promised.I did some brand research, and Organic Doctor is a higher-end skin care line from the UK, and has won many UK beauty awards since 2011. Europe has been producing effective organic skincare longer than the US, so I do not question the pedigree of the brand or the ingredients.My skin loves this product! It goes on smooth, sinks in quickly, and leaves my skin feeling softer. It also moisturizes without creating an oil slick, which is important during the summer. I use this right after oil cleansing, followed by a few drops of cumin seed or papaya seed oil, either an spf cream or night cream, and eye cream.The only drawback for me is the smell. All coconut products, to me, smell like the sunscreens I grew up with.

The smell is the first thing that comes at you when you pump this product into your hand. It smells of coconut. I loved it. It was not overpowering like some. And the smell does not really linger though after you rub it into your skin.I loved the feel also. It was like a lotion. I do not know why this is just for your face. I used it on my arms, and hands also. I loved the feel and it did feel like my body was hydrated afterwards.I love that it is organic and not tested on animals.I love the pump and it does not give you a lot but a little goes a long way.My friend even came over and asked for it again after I let her sample it the previous night.I received this for my honest opinion and was not compensated.

I tried it first on my forearms since that is the area with the driest skin in my body. It feels refreshed and two hours later, my skin is not dry again. Then I tried it on my face and neck. I am allergic to some skin products for the face (that's why I tried it on my arms first.) but did not have an allergic reaction to this product. The product comes in a glass bottle with a squirt nozzle. I like that it is easier to control how much you use. I am pleased with the hydrating function of this oil.

This is natural a pre-moisturizer. You use it on your face before you put the moisture barrier (moisturizer).It goes on a bit greasy, but it doesn't stay that way. My skin absorbs it surprisingly quickly. And as coconut oil, is a good, overall, and quality natural product, I feel comfortable putting this on my skin. It has not given me any unexpected skin problems (although it hasn't visibly reduced any wrinkles or lines, either).

I have used coconut for my hair and cooking but not for my face. I got the hydrating elixir to try. At first I was not sure if I liked this product. It had a grainy feel to it. Luckily, it went away after smoothing it into my skin. It is light weight. There is a hint of coconut and citrus scent. My skin does feel softer but I would not say that it had a glow to it. Plus, a little goes a long way. Just a small dime size will cover pretty much your whole face.
