Exact fit and good value
I have a small wine refrigerator that quit working. On the chance that it was the PTC compressor start device that was the cause I took a gamble and replaced it. I placed the device on the compressor and now my wine cooler is working great. This is the second refrigerator I have repaired by replacing the PTC start device. PTC stands for Positive Temperature Coefficient. The device connects the compressor start winding just long enough to start the compressor and then it's internal resistance rises exponentially to effectively disconnect the start winding to prevent damage.

Bought this to fix our Ewave (LG, actually) wine fridge. There was a little part# correlation that had to happen, but this was it. Absolutely perfect. Wifey is happy - we have cold pinot grigio again. And for anyone scared to change this - it is literally a couple of screws. One of them is the cover. Not hard in the slightest.

Fixed my mini fridge in just a few minutes!
I have an old dorm fridge that I keep for wine, beer, and sodas. it started clicking and I figured it was toast, but a YouTube video convinced me I could say least try to fix it. Took just a few minutes to install this compressor chip and now my mini fridge is good as new. Maybe better, since the freezer compartment doesn't get ice buildup.
